This is a couple of days old, but TO has claimed he has been misquoted in his AUTOBIOGRAPHY.
Now, I don't know about you guys, but TO has no credibility in my book. He's just doing this for publicity and it's obvious that he just loves to hear himself talk, and he loves it even more when we listen. My advice to the media: IGNORE T.O.
Anyway, will TO ever stop being TO?

In other news, Carson Palmer's recovery is coming along very nicely, the Vikings are looking for a new stadium, and Seattle's Seann Locklear sentenced to two years community service after assaulting his girlfriend...
Thoughts?
Heh, I got a good chuckle out of that one.

If plamers healthy early in the season cininati will win the division again. I just wonder why the vikings don't bulid their new stadium on a boat thats what tampa does. Hey we'll know they'll be at every game that way. Well its dishonorable to hit a lady i hope he learns his lesson.

OK, first topic: The Bengals repeat as division champs.

Let's play FACT or FICTION. I'll post something about the coming season, and I want you to tell me whether you think it's fact, or fiction, and explain why.
OK, first topic: The Bengals repeat as division champs.
The Ravens post a huge threat now with a good QB. Sure he's old, but he's still McNair. And he's got a lot of experience.
But the main reason why they won't win is because of the Steelers. The Bus is gone, but they got a better RB. It's still the same NFL Champs as last year pretty much.
I like baltimore and the reason is, like subman799 said, mcnair is still mcnair, they have a nice receiving corp, plus todd heap, jamal lewis, and if he doesnt play well they have mike anderson. Bring back Ray lewis and Ed reed at full health and the rest of that D, i like baltimore as champs.

Fiction, mainly because as good as they are, next to the giants they have the hardest schedule ahead of them. First off every team in that division will be good, which means 6 games against them, Road games against cheifs, bucs, colts, and broncos. I love the bengals but i see them winning 11 games or less because there d sucks.
Jags have the toughest schedule imo. PLaying New Eangleand, the Colts twice, the NFC East which is argueably the best division in the league, and more
They have something no other team in that team maybe steelers but not as good in that division has and thats a potent passing attack. Recieving core is deep. I expect the defence to play alot better as far as ppg is concern. There secondary doesn't need to make as many turnovers as they did last year but it will help. Marvin Lewis is a great defensive coach. There running game is also solid with Rudi Johnson. I think the steelers will have alittle bit of a whiplash from last seasons success but still make the playoffs. Losing randel el on special teams and trick plays and losing bettis for 3rd and short situations will hurt them. and as i said though the ravens offence looks good on paper i don't trust they will be successful until i see it. :edit: Teams in the AFC West have weak secondarys so yes cincinnati can beat atleast 3 of those teams on that fact. On anygiven day they can beat any team in their division i can see them getting 4 division wins. They can beat new england but not indy. and They can beat 3 of the 4 nfc south teams so i can see them 11-5 or 12-4 again.

Fact or Fiction: The NFC playoffs go through Carolina.
I say fact: Carolina is easily the best team in the NFC this year, with the best defense and arguably the best offense as well. They're going to be scary this year.
Btw, T.O. cant be stopped and he has credibility in my book. So all you haters out there can smd!
And T.O. has been misquoted many times before btw.
This fact and fiction thing should have been made in a new thread imo because this thread is gettin clogged wit all kinda shit and I dont know what to talk about anymore.
And btw, the 49ers plan to build a new stadium. If any cares. I dont but I just thought to share.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit* I just read the question and I say that the NFC has to go through the NFC champions, my boys, the Seahawks. Period. We have made many great off season moves, so many I cant name them all but the biggest moves that stick out are, Shaun Alexander, Nate Burlson, and Julian Peterson.
Why do my 2 fav teams have to play the first week against each other? Can someone tell me that? I want the Lions to win though

Next topic: Fact or Fiction? In the NFC, 10 wins guarantee a playoff spot.
I say fact: You could argue that 9-7 will make the playoffs in the NFC, far fewer quality teams there than in the AFC. Also, 9-7 wins the NFC North. You heard it here first.

Fact or Fiction: The Giants will win the NFC East.
The Giants will win the NFC East because they made leaps to improve a defence which was sub par last year. They revamped their secondary getitng a few good players and add one of the best linebackers in the leauge when he plays in levar arrigton and another good one in brandon short. Add him to antonio peice who was playing as good as any linebacker outside brian urclacher last year until he got injured. And add the exp the other giant linebackers got last year who acually played well utnil the game with carolina despite the injuries. They still got one of the best 1-2 defence end tandom in the NFL with umerorya and strahan (carolina is the other). Special teams is solid with wille ponder returning punts and kickoffs and feely is a good feild goal kicker. The one thing the giants have that the other teams will not have as much is an offence. Their offensive line which was weak a few years ago is one of the best in the NFL now. The other 2 condenters in the division (dallas and washington) both have questions their espically dallas. A receiveing core with toomer, shockey, buress and yes moss (rookie of the year) and a back like tiki which only washington can come close 2 (portis). Eli will improve to become the a great qb. So up and down they are a solid team only one real position they have problems with which is DL. So yes with all this said the gaints will win the division but all the teams are good enough to win.
AS being a giants fan myslef i do say fact but i m going to speak from a neutral standpoint and give reasons why the giants will win the NFC East.

Agreed, couldnt say it better.

Fact or Fiction: Steve McNair has a career year in Baltimore.

Fiction: Either Philly is back, or Washington takes it. I can't see the Giants winning this division, not with the schedule they've got ahead of them.
Fact or Fiction: Steve McNair has a career year in Baltimore.
Fiction: He'll have the Brett Farve effect. Too old. Sure, he's still McNair, but Farve was still Farve. And look what happened to him!
