- Raw results: The Shield shatters and Wyatts rebound as Money in the Bank takes shape

Well, it finally happened. The Shield hit the splits on RAW this week when Seth Rollins was revealed to be Triple H's "Plan B". An evolution of Evolution with the departure of Batista! Where we go from here should be pretty interesting!

So, where all the Wrestlemaniacs at? What do we think?

Detox Wrote:
I predict fella goes over Cesaro tonight due to shenanigans. Money in the Bank is right around the corner...that's the one Cesaro should win.

I'm of two minds about this, but I like the productivity of this logic! Wasn't thinking about MITB at all and that's a solid landmark for Cesaro to rise through.

Of course, I loathe the entire MITB concept. I think it's a terrible way to put a guy over. More often than not it cheapens their ability and skill. It's the bottom tier hardcore 24/7 rule applied to a top title. I'm especially put-off because I think the strength of Cesaro is putting him over on ability. Wrestling, wrestling, wrestling. Maybe if he uses it to book himself a title match, that'll alleviate my complaints.

As long as MITB is on the table, I think that's a solid logic, though. Of course, we don't know what MITB means in a world where the champion is on the shelf. Hardcore 24/7 style train robbery of a wounded champ? Two ladder matches on the PPV: one for the briefcase, one for the belt? Interesting.

Very interesting turn for the evolution/shield feud. I'm pretty sure I had the exact same reaction as Ambrose...

I honestly hope however this proceeds, that they don't add anyone else to the shield. Let Reigns and Ambrose finish the feud and then close the book on one of the greatest stables ever. I r mark.

As for Cesaro. I don't think a surprise cash in could work for him. If he did win the case, I absolutely see him splitting up with Heyman, and then(ideally), he would set a date for when he intended to cash it in ala Bryan, and actually stick to it ala not Bryan. That way, he's got the shot, and can cash it in with dignity intact.

- WWE releases Superstars

WWE has come to terms on the release of the following Superstars as of today, June 12, 2014:

Drew McIntyre
Jinder Mahal
Aksana
Curt Hawkins
Theodore Long
Camacho
Brodus Clay
Evan Bourne
Yoshi Tatsu
Marc Harris (referee)

WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.

When you weigh up their current involvement and long term prospects, there isn't anybody too surprising on the list. On the other hand, it's a bit of a bummer a guy like Brodus Clay got burned on a dancing fool gimmick. Aksana seemed like she could've had a place. Teddy Long has tenure. Thems the breaks, I guess.

I notice a certain name that should be on that list, and yet, is not....

CM PUNK RETURN CONFIRMED!

Seriously though, how the hell is Heath "butt-fucking"* Slater not on this list.

*Cannot remember the user who came up with that during the nexus days, but please, stand up and take credit...you deserve it.

Drew was one of my favorites. So I'll miss him the most. But can't say I'm surprised he's on this list. I just wonder how someone with such a promising career got to this point in just a couple of years. Who did he piss off behind the scenes?

He got injured & Cripple H capitalized on that opportunity.

John Cena now teams up with the Rollins-less Shield against the Wyatt Family

Sheamus defeats Barret for qualification towards mitb

Cesaro defeats rvd also qualifying him as well grin

that's basically worthwhile news I got from raw

- Goldust & Stardust vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel: photos

I'm a little bit disappointed nobody has been talking about this. This looks like an amazing new find. This Stardust guy debuted a couple of weeks ago [on RAW]. He's Goldust's new tag team partner and he seems like a very dynamic replacement. He got a crazy fast win against "RybAxel". He seems like he's ready out of the box. Amazingly talented for a rookie. It's surprising that they found someone out there who gels so well with Goldust's bizarre sensibilities as well. It could be interesting if Cody comes back at some point and feuds with these guys. I could see Stardust and Cody matching up very well. It would be great if Cody brought Ted Jr back to feud with them.

What do you guys think of this guy? I think a star is born.

I'm of two minds. On the one hand - that's a serious bummer. The guy is finally getting some traction. The gimmick is working. He's back in the ring and the matches are working. This is a terrible interruption.

On the other hand - I don't really think he should've been in the MITB match to begin with. If they managed their second tier belts better, it wouldn't be a problem - but they don't. So there's a need for this guy to be defending his belt. To be lording it and his superiority over other 1-in-X opportunities to win a cheap Hardcore 24/7 briefcase.

Sucks that he could potentially be on the shelf with a separated shoulder.
Sucks that he wasn't booked to defend the Intercontinental title on "PPV".

That's what I'm more bummed about. The guy finally gets on track(again), and it all starts derailing (again).

You're on the money about the belt as well. Now that the world title is gone, the i.c. belt is number two again, and needs its time to shine. Creative is screwing the pooch on this. Yes, the wwe world title is the ultimate goal, but building the i.c. champion is how were supposed to be getting there Not giving a guy the keys to the castle before wwe is even ready to pull the trigger.

Alright. Sunday is upon us. Where the MKO wrestlemaniacs at? Time to shut up and put up some Money in the Bank predictions!

- John Cena (WWE Championship)
- The Wyatt Family (Tag Team Championships)
- Seth Rollins (MITB Contract)
- Paige (Divas Championship)
- The Gold Brotherhood (Goldust & Stardust)
- Summer Rae
- Rusev

Between not keeping up and the way events have unfolded (via injuries), it's been a while since I've been quite as unsure of what's going to happen! Lay some knowledge on me, brothers.

Big E vs Rusev. Winner: Big E via DQ. That way Big E gets his win but Rusev doesn't come off as weak.

Summer Rae vs Layla with Fandango as ref. Winner: Summer Rae. Via shenanigans.

Paige(c) vs Naomi (Divas title). Winner: Naomi via DQ with Cameron interrupting.

Stardust & Goldust vs Rybaxel. Winners: Stardust & Goldust. Clean win.

The Usos(c) vs The Wyatts (Tag Title). Winners: Usos retain, but gets beat down after match.

MITB Contract Ladder match. Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose vs Bad News Barrett vs Kofi Kingston vs Rob van Dam vs Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler. Winner: Bad News Barrett (if he makes it to the match). Barret swoops in after Rollins nearly grabs case and Ambrose intervenes. If Barret is not wrestling then I'd say... rollins takes it.

WWEWHC Title Ladder Match. John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns vs Cesaro vs Kane vs Alberto Del Rio vs Bray Wyatt vs Sheamus. Winner: Randy Orton. Roman Reigns & Orton are last men up fighting for the title. Sets up future matches between Orton & Reigns.

I would actually like Cesaro to win the title, but it looks like they are building him up slowly. If BNB really is unable to compete then Cesaro might just pick up the IC strap instead.

Maybe apathy has got the better of me, but it's not necessarily the worst call.

Danielson dropped the belt because of an injury. Some fans are probably frothing at the mouth because it's defaulted back to Cena, but the basis of that is that -- this is a borrowed reign.

I don't think anyone believes Cena would've had this win if Danielson was still reigning champion. The inverse of that perspective is -- this isn't the typical Cena run where he's a driving part of the machine. If Summerslam rumors are to be believed, there's an end goal in place, but that just means there's time to kill and opportunities to be filled.

I don't think anyone can honestly say Wyatt, Reigns or Cesaro are ready to be the WWE World Heavyweight champion.

Prematurely putting them in that role isn't a good thing for their long term development. So how can they be built up to that spot? The next logical step is to get legit, organically built, one-on-one chances. That's what Cena can do for Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt's on the Battleground poster. He's got the connection to Cena. This is arguably the most natural time for Bray Wyatt to be in a legit, bonafide, man-to-man WWE Championship match. He's got no business winning - but it's the next step in his development.

Based on the MITB match -- it looks like the chemistry between Cesaro and SHAMOUS will lock them up again. It makes sense for Roman Reigns to peel off into a new feud. Randy Orton is available.

I've never been a John Cena fan. I've shared similar loathing for his routine time at the top. A key factor in my dislike of John Cena was never accepting his premature rise through the ranks. He & Orton got it too soon and had it ever since. I'm not sure that's true for everyone who's sick of these guys, but it's part of the make-up. Repeating that rush to create new headliners does nobody any favors. The fact is - they're there. There's cache. Cena can do some good as a champion of circumstance.

Of course, whether or not any good actually does come of this... T B A.

Right I watched this live, at 1am and with the exception of the lack of an appearance of BNB and Cena Wins Lol. I thought this was good. Even the two divas matches, Naomi looked legit good and the Layla/Summer match wasn't even bad.

Oh, I suppose Damien Sandow's appearance was bad. It makes me sad.

No outstanding moment though. And the whole Ambrose dislocate a shoulder thing before coming back out two swing the chair like a madman was weird.

But yeah solid 7. Am I mad?

Amazing raw last night. AJ's return, Y2J's return, Miz's return! Good stuff.

Y2J looks to be back to put Bray over. They just don't make guys like Chris Jericho anymore.

I thoroughly enjoyed Miz's return promo. His first great heel promo since his damn title run. Hopefully this is a step back in the right direction. Good heels are few and far between these days. "I'm The Marine damn it!"

How about Swagger's face turn? Did not see it coming, yet it makes perfect sense.

The I.C. title battle royal is kinda meh. How many of these things have we had in the past six months?

P.S. Ambrose is the f'n man!

This sucks. The man never lit the world on fire, but you hate to see anybody's career get cut short like this. Hopefully they keep him around in some sort of comic relief role.
