This is true. A good example of "flaming" can be seen in this thread, as demonstrated by Pink_Ranger. Note the way Pink_Ranger calls OPTI0N names and insults him for not agreeing with her opinion? That is the sort of thing that will earn you skull points Coltess. Pink_Ranger is a great role model, just do the complete opposite of what she does. Or, if you want to be promoted, try insulting people.

I'm honestly quite tired of you "men" always doing this anytime a female happens to receive anything on this site. It was done with Chan_Ming, and here it is again. I think some of you have serious issues with being "real men", as it's apparent you are all trying to be so macho. As I said earlier this month... I am through taking this nonsense lightly. If you enjoy making sexist remarks and implying that any female has to sleep their way to the top then you can simply enjoy your skull points. Sexist remarks are in the same category as racism and I'm simply not going to tolerate it. Do you think you'd be "macho" to say, "Hey guys, all the black people here get ranked up pretty fast!". I don't think so... and as I said, I'm done taking things like this lightly.

Before anything, I'd just like to clear up that in no moment have I ever thought that Chan or Trish or any female mod/SP has ever "slept" their way to the top, and even if there was any truth to that (which I doubt there is), I don't care 'cause it ain't my business. Having said that...



The majority of the anti-Chan comments were due to the fact that she hadn't been here much when she got the mod status. Yeah, there were those who said she was "dating" one of the higher ups here (in fact I think it was actually you they referred to, but I don't really remember), but those who thought/said that paled in comparison (number-wise) to those who simply had a problem with someone so new being given so much power. So in that sense, it would seem YOUR logic is flawed in comparing both situations.

Congrats... for once I don't have to whine about the promotion of someone incompetent.

Relax ladies and gents. Nothing begins. I might be making small assumptions about the people who selected you to rank up Pink_Ranger, but that's their prerogative and to be honest I don't really care on the whole. And I don't care that you made assumptions about me in your post either. My point was that I just think it's ironic how some of the people who are being given the responsibility of SP status are the one's breaking the rules.

I'm not going to congratulate you because I don't think you did anything special really, but good for you I guess. *Shrug* And I can't remember if I congratulated you on winning MKO Idol before, so congrats on that btw. I can't remember who else was in the final against you (maybe TomTaz or something?) but I voted for you anyways.

I would've said it in that thread at the time but it got closed before I could reply. All he had been doing was expressing his opinion, trying to be as polite and respectful towads you as possible, and you still flamed him, and even after that he was still polite and respectful, yet you continued to attack him personally. And he didn't even complain or make a "comeback" at you. As shitty and ridiculous as his argument was, that was still uncalled for. If he had said to you what you said to him, it's my opinion that he'd have been drowning in the dreaded skull points. And dismiss this as me "making assumptions about you" because you're now a SP or some other silly nonsense if you want, but your posts are right there and they speak for themselves, people can read them for themselves if they want. I wouldn't have expected something like that from you is all, but the main thing that irks me is that it's just bullshit that he got walked all over and made the whipping boy without doing anything wrong except for having an opinion. I hope you at least apologised to the dude or something.)
