X-Box 2... and I think a console war will erupt over this IMO

None right now. I haven't seen any games for them, so I can't make judgement, and I'm too busy enjoying the current crop of consoles/games...

this thread will more than likely be closed. unless we can all act cival about the whole matter. but anyway i am looking forwared to them all because they all have different things to offer.

im not worry about the ps3,xbox2 or N5 at the moment, im just about to pick up an xbox soon. every one should just enjoy there current consoles and games and stop worry about the next gen, there still plenty of good games for all the systems so i suggest you all enjoy it and not worry about the net gen systems.

Im looking forward to the X-Box2.. Im a PS2 owner, but Im not really caring for PS3 right now. Im REALLY looking forward to that PSP...Playstation Portable

I'm not looking forward to them. I'm actually hoping that the creators of the current systems will tell developers how to use them to the full advantage. I mean look at the PS2 the creators tell developers to "do this" without telling "how". That happened when making Jak II, but the game turned out pushing the PS2 beyond it's "known" limits because the developers know "how to". I'm sure they could do this with all current systems, and I just hope that console sketchers just slow down for a few more years before considering releasing another console so friggin soon.... I mean look around people are just starting to buy some of the current consoles or "thinking about buying one", I say "give them a chance". Anyways have fun with what ya' got I guess.

Next year is their debut!? Does that mean release or revealing?

It depends by what you mean by release.

Meaning they will debut in Japan, and i wouldnt rush out and get it, because its the japanese version, and they make other better versions blah blah blah.........(too much info for anyones good)

All you need to know is that count on x- box and sony to debut at E3 at 2005.

same here with me ps3 i dont kno about xbox2 though since the name is lame " Next Xbox" i heard it only plays xbox 2 games and might not play xbox one games.

as for gamecube2, they need to build in a dvd drive.

Well right now im assuming ill be getting an XBOX 2 since i personally foudn the xbox to be the better system of the three , but depending on the games and quality of the PS3 i might get that instead.

i want to buy a game cube and PS2 soon though just for some games i want to play on those

and eventually i want to get all the next gen systems but ill most likely get the xbox 2 new and buy the others when they are cheap

Please refrain from saying a system sucks, because some jackass (like myself) will come and defend it. Anyways, for the question, I have always been a Nintendo loyalist, but I am looking forwards to PS3.

im looking foward to the N5, it might be nintendos last shot. If it screws up i at least hope nintendo games will be on another console. N5 for Nintendo is do or die and i sure hope they dont die.

Yeah, see, folks already know which system they're going to buy before they even see the specs or the games that will be avaiable for it at launch. This reaffirms what I've been saying along: brand loyalty sells hardware.

I'll buy the Xbox2 and the PS3 for sure.

I don't know about game cube 2 The nintendo systems never really interest me much.

But we'll see, maybe I'll get all 3.

Answer: the regular games minus a few exceptions........

I expect the games to be like the ones being made for the current systems, but only with better graphics Higher resolution texture maps, and higher poly counts for models.

Also they might have more things happening at the same time because they won't have to worry too much about slow down.

I expect the games to look like the Tekken 4 ending movies.

But I'm just guessing. They could look better, or not quite as good.

Xbox 2: it doesn't have backwards compatibility (it can play Xbox 1 games) because then they would have to add the old CD reader and we'd be stuck with an Xbox that's as huge as the one we now know.

PS3: I hope that this time, they've got an impressive release date line up. Because when the PS2 came out, it took MONTHS before something decent came out.

N5: well, this little (of course it(ll be little) machine is shrouded in mystery. There have been a few important Nintendo people saying that it'll be 'a whole new gaming experience'. But they still don't wanna support on-line play :(

So I don't really know yet, they've all got their pro's and cons, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
