WOW. this one really sucks...

Yeah it really does. He was such a great and funny actor/comedian. I really enjoyed his performances in Insomnia, One Hour photo, Dead Poet Society and Good Will Hunting.

RIP. Truly tragic news.

It's a real shame that he's gone. He's one of my favorites, and Mrs. Doubtfire is my favorite movie of his. R.I.P.

This saddens me a lot. It pains me to think of what must've been going on in his mind all these years as he made others laugh and feel through his work. His movies showed me the joy of making others laugh and helped me smile and imagine in the darker moments of my life. He was one of a kind, and not just an irregular way, but in every way. He'll be missed by many, myself included.

First celebrity death to sadden me in a while. Such a talented actor/comedian. Farewell you brilliant man.

As everyone else has said, this is a huge tragedy.

Equally as concerning, is that these things typically come in threes. With a bombshell like Williams as the first, I wonder who will be next.

Kinda in a little bit of denial here. Like he played a huge part of my childhood and such. Part of me wants to believe that he just got sucked into the Jamanji board and needs to be freed but... It just sucks.

Truly sad news indeed. Will be missed, loved his older movies :(

I went through an hour and a half root canal last Tuesday at my new Dentists. They have a TV and headphones for you in which you can choose a movie from their collection or bring a movie from home.

I brought Mrs. Doubtfire with me, it had been a good couple years since I had seen this childhood favorite of mine. Even with the novacaine I felt some pain at times but I couldn't help but smile and laugh throughout the entire session.

The man was such a talented and inspirational being. I feel like a little chunk of my childhood has gone away. He will never be forgotten.

Honestly, this is one of very few celebrity deaths that can really make me feel so bummed. This man was a genius. A comedic prodigy with the heart of three whole Aslana. When I saw the news today at work, my heart sank.

RIP man. Tell me how the real life version of What Dreams May Come is.

I was shocked when I saw the news on TV. I can't believe he is gone. That's so sad, he had so many great and funny roles on screen. I remembered watching him play his character in Mork and Molly series as a kid. I loved his role in "Mrs. Doubtfire"! That is one of funniest movies I've ever seen! It is my favorite movie. It is very sad that depression got the better of him though. How sad he is no longer here with us. He will be missed for sure. Rest in peace, Robin Williams.
