Samurai or Ninja?

Wha would you rather be?

A samurai that is all about honor, loyalty, and courage. A simple life but with strict standards. And in battle, you fight to the death and don't run away. And if you had to be killed, you'd do what you can to make sure a companion of yours does it and not your enemy.

A ninja is about stealth. They are invisible. A spy that always has a way out and a trick up your sleeve. Your all about "kill or be killed". If a fight is in the enemies favor, you will run to save your life to fight anoter day. Also, you have to have a mind of steel and be ruthless as you may have to slaughter children if it is your order.

So, which do you think you would follow?

A ninja, mainly because the samurai were soldiers, therefore they worked for the government. The government pisses me off. Plus, the samurai were part of a feudal class system defined by lineage. I don't believe in that. That's why the ninja broke away from them; I admire that.

i am a ninja.

Well a Ninja will fight for his clan family and community.

They can be very ruthless at times. They do have their own code of honor but it is to be the eyes and the ears of god.

Ah, the age old question.

Prolly a ninja, too. They just know how to get shit done. Though Samurai get those fine Giesha. Ninja just get those skanky farm whores.

I am shocked at the number of ninja replies. I would have thought there would be more samurai. Myself, I would be samurai. Most of you think that ninja were completely diferent then samurai, but in truth, ninja were usually poor samurai in disguise. Also, ninja never possessed "magic" or any of the crap you see in TV, nor were they usually wealthy. Most of the time, they could not get their hands on an elegent katana, so they would have to create a makeshift blade from a saw or something like that.
