Speculation is always the fun part when a game is being released. So many people see different characters. People have said Adon on the 4th pic, Sagat on the last pic, Remy on the 5th, I've heard Juri, Ibuki, Sakura, Juli, T Hawk, Seth, and Sodom as well.

I'll guess wildly at... #1 Balrog (Boxer), #2 Guile, #3 Geki, #4 Yun, #5 Adon, #6 Rufus.

Some of that might be wishful thinking (Adon). Rufus is not wishful thinking, but the pose kinda reminds me of him. I'm just enjoying being able to not know and guess wildly.

Did it come from a video? #2, #3 & #4 seem like they have highlighted (colored) areas. Did they all have that? Is it actually really obvious who's who if you saw the vid?

Strange, something like this gets the SF community hype, but enrages the MK community to no end. *shoulder shrug*

Any who, I haven't been apart of the conversation for SFV, but have been watching beta streams/taking in the available info, and so far, I'm excited for what I see. February can't get here soon enough.

I think its because the roster for mkx left something to be desired and the first dlc pack sucked ass. Then they show 4 shadows and then nothing when mk fans are dying of info since netherrealm has stayed quiet for quite some time.

Or I could just be thinking out of my ass. I dunno.

I definitely see Balrog, Guile, and Ibuki, but #3, #5, and #6 are a bit hard for me to make out.

My wild guesses!

#3 - Illuminati Rose - I've never played SF3, but from what I've been reading on the SF wiki, the Illuminati organization seems to use magic and divination and have a heavy link to the occult. They are also known to be involved in the usual criminal activities like kidnapping, brainwashing, etc. I'm wondering if the Illuminati has kidnapped her and is using her for her mystical talents. Part of this is my wishful thinking for Rose in the roster (hey, at least I admit it), but the figure is wearing a robe and what I believe is the logo of some kind of evil organization (is that the Illuminati?). Characters that wear robes are generally zoners, so..... *shrug* I think having Rose being a brainwashed sorceress for the Illuminati would be hella interesting, though.

#5 - Could be Juri. Definitely thinking it's a female from that arch in her back. Looks like they could be wearing a cap, too. Poison, perhaps? Or, wild guess here, since this seems to be some years after SF3.....an older and possibly more femme Makoto? The possibilities here...

#6 - The spread palm is screaming HONDA at me, but nothing else does. Rufus? Those are the only returning characters I could see being anywhere close to this silhouette. *shrug* I'm going to say new character.

Yes she appear in Final Fight 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX on PSP.

Yeah she'd be pretty cool if she made it. Im hoping that Ibuki somehow makes it in. God damn Febuary needs to get here.

Adon for 5 was my first thought also. Really looks like one of his back to camera poses.

I loved playing as Dhalsim since I was a kid.
He was the 1st character I beat the game(SFII Turbo) with. His range made it easy.
I still have problems using his mummy dive.

I can see Juri, but Adon would've been nice. Maybe an updated look with a tattered headband instead of the Muay Thai gear, or something. Looks like Juri's a lock, though.

Interesting mix of characters. Hope they don't take too long to follow up with more. Still looking for a little Sagat action, maybe Adon, maybe an update to El Fuerte or Abel. I'd love to see a new version of Joe. Still eager for a Muscle Bomber to crack the SF line-up, Ortega or other.

Just in case anyone was wondering about the palettes for SFV, there is a website that has a few pictures of some of the roster and their palette swaps.

Just played a few matches on a unannounced stress test. They had Laura in the roster along with some other additions such as the main menu and music. Some characters have been tweaked as well. Chun Li's and Karins win animation have been slightly altered. You can now choose palette color and costume. Shit is looking good.

Aaaaand Laura is hella easy to play. Easier than Mika. She plays like mika too which is kinda cool. She is definitely not a combo character. She is a rush down, pressure, get up close character.

And her tits and ass are god damn god tier.

Censored Cammy's entrance too. The camera angle is different when she lands and it leaves her behind out of the camera.

Honestly, they're going to see Cammy and Mika's booty in battle anyway. This just seems pointless. Yes, there are a few scantily-clad women in this game, and yes, Mika likes to ham it up a bit and be playful for her audience as a pro-wrestler.

I don't understand where they're coming from. Was this an internal decision, or were they facing external pressure from people who, more than likely, won't even buy the game?

Iunno, people also have to take in the fact that this is still all a game in progress. Everything can change. Just look at Mika from the video that showed the change. Shes not even teal anymore, shes blue aaaand the lighting is a bit different too.

I have a feeling alot of things will change between these 4 months of waiting.
