Yuppo, there have been a few cases where people have been shot in the head and survived after intense surgery.
One guy who was involved in a convenient store robbery had half his brain shot off and managed to survive. (of course he's handicapped but managed to get a reasonably good control of his arms and has a sense of humour )
Another guy was sentenced to death via firing squad, and survived after 3 shots to the head and five in the body. And yes, they let him live. His face looks like a prune now tho.

To get snake eyes, you have a...(It's either 2/12 or 1/6X1/6) I don't know or care, but you can only use averages to say what occurs most frequently, not what will actually happen. So, if I understand the question correctly, the answer is "We don't know until we roll the dice".
