can someone explain the tiers and who's in which one

Tiers are a list of all the characters, in order of who's the best and worst. People are sayign Snake and MK are the best and that Jiglypuff and Captain Falcon are the worst. This is true, but if someone who is good with Jigglypuff went up against someone who is bad with Snake, then obviousely Jigglypuff is gonna win, but if an equally skilled Snake versus and equally skilled Jigglypuff, then Snake would PROBABLY win.

THere is no official tier list right now, but it is generally agreed upon that Snake, Meta Knight and Mr. Game and Watch are the best, and Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, and Ganondorf are the worst.

well at least wario and link aren't on the bottom

err, Link might be bottom, and Wario is middle to high tier.

Use Wario. He is awesome! I tried him out yesterday, and I decided to use him more often,. The wackiest character in the game.

hey guys, i think i had a supreme breakthrough with mario!

to those who know and played against doggy, yall know that he can seriously dish out ultimate ownings and to those who don't know, he is really, really good.

well, just awhile ago, me and him played, no weapons, no items, on the final destination stage, so its just us playing.

the first round started slow. we ran at each other and dodged back and forth, neither of landing a hit. then i saw an oppurtunity to grab him and throw him up. i did so, and then i jumped and nailed him 3 times with a back kick. it kinda reminded me of a ken combo. then i knocked him off the stage and edge grabbed him

that was just the first round, the later rounds, were almost the same. me totally owning him. i had at least 3 lives left in each round.

i think the breakthrough is that i am now superior in air combat and ground combat. i have practically mastered mario's cape and water gun as well.

i'm so phsyched right now

link is basically the same as in melee so i have no need to practice with him i am already as good as I'm going to get with him olimar on the other hand is so fun my friend tried to use his final smash with marth and i used my whistle i didn't budge

The wait is finally over! I now have this game and I'm impressed by it so far. I've only used Link so far and played through Classic Mode and been on Training mode. The game just looks immense in terms of what there is to see, do and unlock. It also looks beautiful and I've just unlocked my first character - Captain Falcon.

Wow you're doing it faster than I did.... I pretty much got my friend to unlock all 3 of the secret hidden characters (Wolf, Toon Link, Jigglypuff) and defeat story mode.

And Link has changed, alot. He's slower and weaker imo. In fact, he's being considered for bottom tier. I used to be awesome with Link in Melee, but now I can't play as him to save my life.

Verizon man came and fixed something with the DSL and the telephone pole and we bought a new wireless router so I hope to see you guys brawling again.

On a side note, or maybe coming back from a side note, argh they made Ganondorf terrible this game!

Well on the tier list subject don't forget about Ike, his moves may be slow but his range is perfect and he's powerful as hell.

Link's double smash? Is that his up a move, because he still has that slicing in the air thing. Or is it when he comes down with his sword? Because he still has that too.

I'm surprised that Wolf bumped Fox down to the worst tier.

Samus is now the worst? Crap, after the original series, they just kept dragging her down. How in the world did they nerf Ganondorf and captain Falcon so much?

Captain Falcon's attacks come out a tinsy bit slower, but aren't nearly as powerful. His spikes suck now, and most of his moves are less powerful. G-Dorf is now too slow to play as, with small range, and a crappy recovery

Link still has that Forward Smash combo, but I think it got weaker, not sure though.

Samus is floaty, weaker, and lost her ability to combo. I think her projectiles are a little weaker, but I'm not too sure

captian falcons was my main in melee, so when i unlocked him in brawl, i was overjoyed. then i tried playing as him. they cut down his speed overall (including attacks) and they cut down the damage he can deal out. he sucks now :(
