I like Robin and Lucina/Chrom, but I really wish that with the wide variety of fighting in Fire Emblem (Axes, griffons, wavers, 1/2 beasts, 1/2 dragons, magic, bows, spears, pagasus) they would diversify instead of having 3 sword-only characters...

I do love that they clearly reflect on fan interests from all the Brawl hacks/enhancements and went with many skins for multiple character options per slot.
EDIT: Actually, it looks like Chrom is part of Robin's Final Smash... not a male version of Lucina... never mind

I do not like Lucina's moveset. She is just a clone of Marth. This happenned before in Brawl with Fox as Falco and Wolf were clones of him. I would not be surprised if this is her only Smash appearence as a playable character.

Really happy for Robin as Robin is an entirely unique character with a some very interesting moves such as the move that puts a curse on the opponant.

I think I'll use Lucina just because I hate Marth's bitch ass.

ign confirms ray man will be added to the roster. I find it weird why he would be in smash but not in all stars since he was originally on PlayStation I think. the article is on ign.com.

I like that Robin does the pose when he shoots his fire like the Mages do in Fire Emblem 1. That's pretty cool.

anyone know if in previous smash games the trophy characters eventually became full fledge characters added to the roster. was just wondering if trophy characters are a hint to future characters o come in this installment or the next.

Little Mac was a trophy in Brawl and is now a playable character. So it could happen. But I don't want Ray for this game. The third party support is already so good, any more would be overkill at this point.

Speaking of Ganondorf... seeing as so many old characters are getting new/enhanced moves, I hope they separate him a bit from Captn Falcon and get him some unique specials. Maybe some ranged moves. I don't know... anything besides punchy kicky

I would love to see Rayman on Smash. I think he would be great addition to the series as a 3rd party.

Clones first appeared in the original (see Luigi) and have always had distinctions from the original character. More were added in Melee. Wolf is arguably a semi-clone of Fox, but is most definitely not a clone. With Lucina, she is literally the same character with a different model and no tipper mechanic.
