First off, I am not presenting any of this information as fact, nor am I the originator of any of this information, I have no affiliation with any of the people involved with this curfuffle, I am just posting it to inform you guys of what is possibly a leak on details for Brawl that have not been officially mentioned in any sense. This may be Big Spoiler's or it could be a false rumour so be warned, I am not claiming any responsibility for any of this either way, I am not asking for flames, or anything like that, and please don't let this turn into a flamewar like this has done to a number of sites.

A leaker/prophet/whathaveyou, who apparently had correct information on leaks for an Advance Wars game awhile ago, has said that Roy and Mewtwo will be playable on the Pal and US versions of Brawl, with the character's being DLC in Japan (most likely free)

This and the recent discovery of the Forbidden 7 (Roy, Mewtwo, Dr. Mario, Dixie Kong, Plusle & Minun (note they might be an Ice Climber's type thing), Toon Zelda, and Toon Shiek) which are character files found on the second layer of Brawl's disc, of which only Roy and Mewtwo have victory music, also the discovery of a "Purchase" sound file is rather mysterious.

Sakurai is making a speech on the SSBB roster on Friday at the Gamer's Day Convention, which should provide some answer's, but if he doesn't mention it at all it doesn't disprove anything.

It's very interesting, please be civil, this is just a rumour, I believe the guy but it's a very slim chance, so don't get your hopes up, I know I won't.

i called gamestop and they said that brawl comes out march 4th.i know that stores get the games early but arent they unable to sell the game until march 9th?oh yeah and if it means anything i live in puerto rico.

My favorite final smashes are:
Link, Ike, Zelda, Zero Suit Samus, Diddy Kong, Pokemon Trainer and King Dedede's.

Characters I will be mainly using: Zelda, Link, Yoshi, Kirby, Pit, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Zero Suit Samus and King Dedede.

I will still be trying the rest though. ^^

I'd take all of that with a grain of salt, as it seems too good to be true.

IGN: We have to ask because there are so many rumors about this. Are there any hidden characters to come? Can you unlock more hidden fighters by way of WiiConnect24 or will you offer new downloadable content -- new fighters, for example. -- using the service?

Masahiro Sakurai: No. There are no characters that can be unlocked via connecting to WiiConnect24 or interacting in that fashion. And I may be mistaken here, but the Wii doesn't have a hard drive -- it's a disc-based system -- so I don't think we'll be doing that, I don't think it's going to happen.
