The graphics look better then 4 that much can be said for sure. Glad everyone around the world is enjoying it.
It's definitely an improvement.

The game has some of the best story telling and voice acting I've seen in a game. I truly think Rockstar has out done themselves.
Actor Jonah Hill voices character Michael's son. Who is a steriotypical racist gamer. Spouting expletive while playing games online (really tongue and cheek at their fan base).
Dare I say this may have the best characters since Vice City.

Okay. Spoiler time.

Anybody else catch the obvious reference to Niko? I thought it was pretty cool. Oh and in the mission Mr. Phillips, is that Johnny from Lost and the Damned? Nevermind it was him. I answered my own question.

Same here. I thought it was a nice nod.
Also: GTA5 - Day 1 sales $800 million and GTA5 Fastest selling game in the UK, beating out COD: BO
While TakeTwo didn't list Da1 sales numbers, it looks like the game could have sold 4 million+ copies.

Lol I was playing as Franklin and I thought I'd see what Trevor was up to. So I pop over to Trevor and see he's being chased by the cops. All I could think was:

Of the three main characters, who does everyone enjoy playing as?
I enjoy playing as Michael. I've always liked the GTA: Vice City setting and Michael's characters seems like he would easily fit into that game.

Definitely Michael.
He reminds me of Frank West. And his special ability is the most useful one for me. And he's hilarious.

My boyfriend and I couldn't stop laughing and I almost died during that too. The rampages are freaking hilarious, especially when you're fighting against the hipsters.

Well I finally beat it. Fantastic game. I liked GTA IV's story just a bit more, but GTA V's story was very well written. I was surprised that the characters were so diverse and felt like their own characters. And the relationship between each of the characters was interesting.
Now I'm just hanging out with each of the characters.

Sweet, I've only played this for a couple days on my roommate's PS3, while he's at work.
My only gripe is the lack of various enterable interiors that IV had.
The road textures look amazing. Soooo much more realistic looking.
The water looks nearly realistic. IV's water only looked great from afar or certain angles.
1st animal I ran over was a Mountain Lion/Cougar in the woods by accident.
A Mountain Lion/Cougar was also the 1st animal to kill me. I tried to get my gun out, but it was too late...
Love cruising down the highway at night, watching the deer grazing or running.
First store I robbed was an Ammu Nation. You have to get your gun out, then go through the door. The Ammu Nation clerk will fight back, like III.
Pistol whip/shoot the cash registers for money bags.
The nods to previous GTAs are nice as well. The calligraphy/writing text reminiscent of Vice City, as are the property buying. Snow, and going outside the main game city reminiscent of San Andreas(Winter in LC), and Liberty City Stories(one mission had snow).
I've had a couple graphical issues, and split second flashes/fades, but they didn't take away from this awesome masterpiece.

I don't have one. I always turn the radio off due to the soundtrack being shit. Rarely I'll put on the talk radio, but most of the time that isn't even worth it.

I can understand that. But I will say that the Los Santos Rock Radio is the only station I actually like. Bob Seger saved the soundtrack for me. As for that Wavves song, I guess it just snuck up on me. Heard it while flipping through the station wheel, I liked the opening for it so I listened to the whole song. Loved it.
Ironic because that song is on the station I complained about the most.

The Rap station (same with IV since IV had a horrible music soundtrack) and it was Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E or Ambitionz of a ridah - 2pac

Is it just me, or does Trevor look like Jack Nicholson?
Fav song is Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
Never knew the name of the song, or that it had lyrics.
All I ever remember is dat sax.
lol Convoy rofflz for drivin 18 wheelers.
I usually set the radio to:
West Coast Classics (I'm not into rap, but I do reccognize a bunch of these. Great cruising music.)
Los Santos Rock Radio
WCTR Perennial staples Lazlow & Fernando
Blaine County Talk Radio
Off
Nothing screams realism like

I constantly hear Phil Collins "I Don't Care Anyone," so I just change the radio to Lazlo.
I am certainly I'm fairly close in beating the game, but I'm not going to state where I'm at, but throughout the game, I only have one issue with it. The Cops.
Hear me out, I'm glad that they made them a bit harder to escape from, but when they actually find you, they nonstop ram their cars in the back of yours, which never happened in the fourth and it annoys the crap out of me. They also like to pin you immediately if you stop, and you can't just back your car up, you're stuck there because cars in this game can't just be shoved around by another car as smoothly as they did before.
Also, they get called to the scene really quickly too. I like to have fun and punch people out of the blue for extra cash. But I can only do this two times compared to the fourth where I could punch like... five people and then the cops come. I mean, that's kinda irritating that I can't have that much fun before the cops come.
Otherwise, meh, losing them isn't that hard but it is a bit frustrating at times.

My problem isn't that they're hard to lose, it's how long it takes. It takes FOREVER to shake them. I'll be outside of their line of sight for about 5 minutes before they stop looking. In GTA4, you had to be outside the circle for maybe 5 seconds and they'd go away.
Another thing is how just running away from the cops automatically gets you a 2 star wanted level. Usually I have to shoot at them first to get 2 stars, but just running away will get me shot. So that's another problem with the cops.
There's supposedly a bug that isn't allowing you to save your cars in garages. They're fixing the issue.
Meh, I never had this problem as I never save any cars I use because I use the defaults that each character has... Or I steal them.
But I really can't wait for next Tuesday.
