Yup that happened to me. I bought Michael, Trevor, and Franklin all Challengers. Each character has their own garage too. I customized each car and gave them distinctive paint jobs. I drove them around for a bit and parked them in the garages. Next time I went to see their cars all my Challengers were gone. So that was bullshit.

And has anyone actually played online yet? I've made my guy and that's it. And can we agree that the Character Creation for GTA Online is crap? I hated gene pools in The Sims 2 and I hate it in GTA Online. Aside from John Marston being your dad there's nothing cool about if. (And why couldn't they have had a Max Payne dad?)

Alright so after about a week the online is still sketchy. Fun but ruined by my character always getting deleted. But enough about that.

What's the most rotten thing you've done offline and online?

Offline: I used a stun gun as Trevor to stun a police officer. Then I doused him in gasoline and lit him on fire while he was still stunned.

Online: I went to a liquor store that was being robbed by another player. I waited for him to finish the robbery, took my shotgun and bashed his face in. I then took his score and got away.
Love the game, so much fun. Hillarious!
Are the 24/7 stores marked on the map anytime? I've seen 1 Liquor Store.
I find Armored Car events at a couple places. 1 is a Gas Station.

Found a couple enterable interiors:
- At the Los Santos Airport, one building has a set of stairs leading up to a door. Inside is a hall, leading up some stairs to another hall, then back down stairs, hall & out the door to a similar stairway as the first entrance.

Other buildings have similar stairs, but the doors are not enterable/obviously different.

- One hangar has a pseudo hallway by the inside office area.

- The Car Impound, located on the map as a head-on car shillouette symbol, is an enterable Police Station. A stairwell leads to the roof helipad, where an unarmed Buzzard sometimes spawns.

Climbed to the top of one of the (grey Golden Gate-ish style) bridges. The cables have safety wall/nets. One tower has a Rocket Launcher spawn at a decent rate.

The giant 4 engine Jetliners can be entered under the belly where the wings meet the fuselage. The 2 engined Jetliners can't seem to be entered. There is a Dodo-like(not stuntplane, I don't think) plane outside one of the hangars.

I haven't seen a Stallion or Blista Compact.
Dukes of Hazard horn but no Dukes?
I can put Louvres on a Buffalo, but not a Sentinel XS to make a Mafia Sentinel? Some vehicles have very lacking options, hardly on par with Midnight Club. A few vehicles have some very interesting modifications.

Too bad Busses can't be ridden, though programming individual bus routes would prabably take too much space.
Taxi ride is not 1st person like in IV. sad furious
A lot of fun little things removed from IV, but Soda Machines still refill health.

Online mode suggestions:
Is there a lack of boat gametypes?
What about Pirate battles or boarding parties or drug smuggling runs, cops n robbers chases?

Is there aerial dogfighting gametypes?

Alien Invasion or Alien vs Human gametypes? Call it Body Harvest, after their N64 game.

Worst thing I've done is car jack someone's tractor. He pulled me back out and tried to fight me, so I knocked him out. Then I shot him in the head while he was knocked out and then ran over his body.

I must say i was pretty disturbed by this myself because after i shot him, there was a pool of blood on the road and when i ran back over him making a u-turn the blood smeared all over the road in the tire marks.

It looked quite real. I'm kind of baffled by how painstakingly detailed Take2 was with GTA5.
I like to do burnouts & spin my tires on peoples' faces.

In IV, I'd push people off Rotterdam Hill, walking into some to lead them off the edge. Cops only came if I punched/kicked/pushed somebody.

I loved Dwayne's apartment building, with the 40 storey stairwell. 1 Apt on the top floor, and stairs to the roof.

I've been killed by a Shark. Was scuba diving around a plane wreck, and 1 was circling me for a while. So I tried knifing it. It circled quickly, and bit me. Happened so quick, reminded me of an out of nowhere death way back in GTA SA, I swear was a Shark attack. I looked away, and I was dead in a flash.

Oh, oh! While you still can't ride in the bed of a pickup/Picador, you can ride on flatbeds, the top of box trucks, busses, and various trailers.
Car carrier ramp can be kicked down. Cars driven in, rattle. I got 1 car in, went to get a 2nd, and the whole truck disappeared.

If you climb onto a boat hauled by a pickup, you can enter the boat as normal, but you can't control it, except the radio. It's locked onto the trailer, until you back it into the water. There's a jetty launch at the Helipad by the Marina. While you can manouever the boat back into position for the trailer, it wont lock back on.

You can ride INSIDE the back of moving box trucks! The 1 with the ledge on the back, the doors open with various hits. You can ride inside, and shoot out, while the cops chase. Walls can be used for cover. Sometimes the doors close. Sometimes, both. It's neat.

Still can't use melee weapons on bikes.
*Blah, blah, go play Road Rash, Tetra, blah, blah*
You'd think with TLaD, at least. Only in a few GTA missions over the years.

Everyone complaining about the cops being hard to lose needs to stop driving like maniacs.
- Once the radar stops flashing, and the cop icons get search arcs, slow down to blend in with normal speed traffic. Driving erratically can tip you off, and prolong the chase.
- Listen to the radio chatter, if your vehicle description is given out, get a new set of wheels or take a stroll. Take cover in an alley. Be smart, if they catch you, you will die.

I was arrested 1 time while playing as Trevor.
They take your ammo, and upgrades. (Silencer, flashlight, etc.)
While aiming your gun, flashlight can be turned on/off with > on the d-pad.

Is nightvision/thermal scope mission only? What does the advanced scope even do then?!

Ka-Tra
You can hide from the cops in thickets of brush.
If your white triangle icon on the radar turns grey, you're hidden, like in IV.

Saw crowbar & molotovs listed in the stats, but they aren't at AmmuNation. Finally found a crowbar at the outdoor ampa theater, now I just gotta locate the molotovs...

Been trying some of the other radio stations.
Non Stop Pop reminds me of the 90s. Haven't heard of All Saints, since compilation cd commercials when I was younger. Only ever heard of N JOI from an old compilation cd commercial.
Pure Shores, Rhythm of the Night, Don't wanna fall in love

I almost thought I heard Sonic's drowning music when I first started playing, but it's a beeping song the cabs always seem to play.

Can ride on the trailers hauled by pickups.
Can climb into the dump bin of a Bubble, not Gravel, sorry. Rubble is a small, normal sized dump truck about the size of other industrial trucks by HVY, Biff, Brute, etc...

Loader can pickup/carry 4 wheeler in it's bucket.

Peds pick through trash, sneeze while crossing the street.

After a month and a half of the game being out and already 100% the story mode and putting several hours into the online, I think I can finally give a full opinion on this game.

I am having a very mixed feeling over this game. I think first though I should cover my thoughts on single player then online. Now mind you, this is all obviously my opinion and feel free to comment and interject on my evaluations of the game. I'll post what I feel about online sometime soon. As I have a feeling this post may go on for a long while....

The story of GTA V, is a lot like GTA IV in many respects. Now I don't mean in the path and tone of the story as much as I do my overall ride through it. GTA V starts off story wise rather strong. The 3 character aspect of the story allows you to have different perspectives from different people of different backgrounds and allows you to fit in roles that at times would feel out of place. Just imagine doing one of Trevor's missions as Franklin. It wouldn't really fit Franklin's character now would it? The different narrative structure allows you to experience Los Santos and Blaine County in all it's glory as Franklin, your typical gang banger trying to get out of the hood, Michael, our former criminal trying to regain his glory years, and everybody's favorite meth head sociopath, Trevor.

Out of all 3 characters, Trevor is easily the most interesting as he is so over the top, so crazy, you can't help but be charmed by his disgusting, morally depraved behavior. Michael I also found to be an interesting character as he is our most well rounded character as he is what you'd typically expect from your GTA protagonist. He has interesting problems, a family whom he struggles to deal with and his own demons of being attracted to destruction. The problem is he just can't bring himself to admit it. However, as enjoyable as these two characters are, Franklin is sadly wasted. Instead of making him an interesting character with interesting problems, we get just the gang banger trying to make something with his life and get out of the hood. He's the straight man in a game that had no need for one.His arc never really peaks and comes off as just a lazy re-write of CJ from San Andreas. Hell, at the end of the game and if you choose the Deathwish option for the game, when our 3 amigos are listing off the guys they need to off, Trevor and Michael can easy name several that they need to get rid of while Franklin is like, "Yeah there is this one dude that was in that one mission that most of you probably already forgot about." It's wasted potential.

The rest of the characters we have to meet and deal with are great satirical jabs at modern America and LA and are for the most part likable themselves.

The production values in this game are easily one of the high points. The city and characters all look beautiful. From the sandy beaches to the deserts of Blaine County, this game is the pinnacle of what a sandbox game can look like. The sound and detail overall is phenomenal. As someone posted earlier, some of the detail you see in some of the dead bodies is rather eerie and being ejected from your car is always a great touch. The overall score to the game is rather well done and has a fantastic feel of the 80s which is great as it harkens back to Vice City, a game that I still hold in high regard today. If there is one knock I have on this games production it is that of the licensed radio music selection. This has easily got to be one of the weakest selections for a GTA game since GTA III. There are some great songs, don't get me wrong, but when two of the stations I was looking forward to in the country and classic rock radio are packing less then stellar picks, it's gonna make me not a happy camper. It's a minor quibble, but I think they could have done a better job. Finally, the voice acting of the game is top notch as it has been since GTA Vice City.

Gameplay wise, I there is quite a few improvements in the game over GTA IV. As with every GTA game, the core mechanics are very simple: you shoot and you drive cars. I feel the driving in this game is much better then in GTA IV. It's not as slippery and loose feeling as GTA IV and is probably the best driving experience out of any GTA game. The shooting in the game with free aim is nice. However, it may because I spent a lot of time playing Red Dead Redemption, makes it just about piss easy to get headshots. If you're an experienced GTA IV or RDR player and want some form of challenge, free aim is going to be the way to go, otherwise the auto aim is casual friendly. However, the cover mechanic is still wonky and unresponsive at times like it was in GTA IV which can make what should be an easy gun fight turn into a "what the hell happened to my health?" situation.

Like with many other GTA games, there is a great breadth of activities for you to take part in. From racing to parachuting to triathlons to golf and tennis, there is a lot of stuff to do in Los Santos that will keep you occupied for hours. I'm surprised how well the tennis and golf play as I actually thoroughly enjoy the golf in GTA V. Masterpieces of gaming? Far from it but done well enough to make you want to engage in that activity. GTA also brings back classic rampages which was a great thing and I wish they had more of them as they are a great throw back to the classic 3D games. The game also has several collectables, none as annoying as the pigeons in GTA IV, stunt jumps, and side missions to keep you invested in the game. Some of them actually give you decent rewards for your effort making you feel more accomplished.

The game brings back the RPG like element of having stats for different skills as previously done in San Andreas. There are stats for stamina, shooting, strength, driving, flying, lung capacity, and stealth. However, I never really felt like these stats really impacted game play. I never noticed a difference in how a car handles or a plane handles when increasing those stats or my shooting being better if I had a higher shot stat. The only stats that I noticed a difference in was stamina and lung capacity for underwater breathing. A nice addition but rather unnecessary.

Now, back to the story/single player mode. The heist were a big thing that was talked about going into the game in how they would be an integral part to the story. You have to plan them out, set them up and then embark on the heist. Sounds amazing doesn't it? It is! Well sort of. Let me explain. The first heist of the game, the jewelry store heist is a great heist. You plan it out, can choose two different ways to go in, choose your crew, make all the preparations and then hit the store. It's a great mission and a great start to the heist. But it starts off too big. Most of the other heist come off as inconsequential and the fact that some of them you get nothing for your efforts come off as very underwhelming. Also, almost half of them you can't really plan and are already set up for you. The whole plan the heist gimmick is just that, a gimmick. Not much control is really given to you or as much as you'd like to have. With Stanley's Parable being out, that game's message would fit this games to a tee. It says you have all this choice when you really don't. It's a cool concept but with there being not as many heist as there should have been and not having as much freedom with them as I'd like to have, it just kind of wore off really fast.

The story mode is actually really short or at least feels like it. With only 69 missions, and some of them being the prep stages of a heist which can be done in a few minutes, the story feels truncated and nowhere near as expansive and deep as other GTA games. Also the 3 character gameplay mechanic also hurts some of the story elements as Franklin suffers from it as his story as previously stated, never really goes anywhere. My biggest problem with the story is the last 1/3. Like GTA IV the story hits its stride around the half way point and then just completely peters out. The story starts to slow down and the missions become less fun, and plot elements get stuffed in as the writers realize they don't have much story left to go on. It's disappointing.

Also like in GTA IV, you get to make a pivotal choice. However, unlike in GTA IV, you get 3 choices but two of the choices come off as basically unacceptable due to the consequences that go with them. I won't spoil them but they have nowhere near the impact that GTA IV's did.

Is GTA V a great game? I don't know, it's close. I loved the first 2 weeks of playing the single player but as I came close to finishing the story that sense of being underwhelm was starting to set it. The gameplay is probably the best in any GTA game outside of the still wonky cover, the production is great, the activities numerous, you'll be burning plenty of hours on this game. It's not the best effort my Rockstar this generation though as Red Dead is going to be the best of the best. Not just from them, or open world games but overall game period this generation. I can't say for certain that if the story was expanded more that if the game overall would be much better but if we were given more heist and more control over them, it may be a much better game for it.

Play this game, it's worth your time.

Come on guys, don't make me be the only guy taking selfies!

My baby cakes from GTA3

Me on top of a Semi-Truck Trailer moving down the Highway

The Mule, and the Benson are the trucks you can enter.
I was wrong, you don't have to hit them. The doors just open when you climb on the roof or randomly.

I wonder how many people can fit in the back. Be funny online, truck drives up, n like 10 guys swarm out of the back.

Can't wait to see people filming their own machinima movie type stuff using online. It'd require a coordinated, dedicated group.

I miss crouching. All we can do is leann over, menacingly...

Ghosts, UFOs, Bigfoot...
Another myth easter egg from San Andreas, the map is shapped like Homer Simpson's head! I just noticed that the other night, when looking for 24/7 location maps. Side profile of his head, looking to your left. Alamo Sea is his peanut brain...

A bug in the game caused me to stop playing for a while.

I had a Franklin mission to play that would continue the story.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
It's after the part where Michael gets kidnapped

You had to go to your old house and a cutscene would trigger with his aunt bursting out of the house with two other women, jogging and chanting with Trevor yelling back at them. The problem is that the cutscene never triggered, it would only have Franklin and his aunt screaming back and forth towards each other.

I KNOW for a fact that this was the next mission in line and it wouldn't start. Even on my map, the "F" would pop up, clearly telling me that there's a mission triggered there. But whenever I would arrive, the "F" would disappear. I thought it occurred during a specific time but nothing happened.

So, I had to reload right after the mission where Trevor crashes a plane into a giant lake.

I'm not playing for a while... Probably not until I'm done with school.

Story DLC coming 2014

Heists also coming in 2014. Interesting to note, the story DLC contains Franklin, Michael, and Trevor.
So I haven't had a chance to play GTAV since the Beach Bum DLC.
The Valentines Day, Bonnie n Clyde/Gangster DLC looks sweet, the Business & High Life have added stuff too.

I noticed something when playing last year, but didn't think anything of it, until I read a "Trivia" comment on the GTA Wiki for Traci, that young Staci supposedly looks like Jenette McCurdy (Sam from iCarly/Sam & Cat). Personall, I don't see it, but I remembered what I noticed:

Cut off, Right click to view image

Excited about the Heists Update, and the new Vehicles.

Kuruma, and Hydra return, Technical variant of Rebel, 2 New Attack Helicopters!!

Stuck playing the PS3 version, but that`s still a fine gaming experience.
I keep getting put in games with modders, and racists...sadsleepfuriousconfused
``GUYZ HO-HOW DO I GETS MONEY?! Can sumbody giv me sum money?!`` *Facepalm*

I used to wear the Flight Suit, I bought after completeing the flight school.
I just like flying. I can fly the Mamaetus?(Dodo), and the Stuntplane through the tunnel under Fort Zancudo. glasses Lazer`s tail keeps catching the roof scaffolding or the bix box trucks are in traffic...

Currently I`m dressed like Baron Samedi in Goldeneye (N64)
I mostly Race, and Survival when I`m not Freeroaming.

Yes, I suck, blind man can`t shoot for shit!
Dang kids these days... Randomly gun me down when I`m in the middle of something. Maybe it`s a good thing you can`t do Taxi fares online. Getting vehicles for Simeon is difficult enough.

I`m hoping the Aircraft Carrier is on the map in Freeroam. There`s room off the North or Eastern Coast.

I wish someone would be my friend and come over to my fancy apartment and drink my whiskey.

I'm so tired of killing and stealing all bah mah lonesome sad...
Another update for Online, tomorrow. GTA Wiki details on Ill gotten gains part 1

Male Earrings, hundreds of new clothing items, gold painted Luxor & Swift, 1 new gun. New cars, 2 of which are GULLWING! The Osiris & Sterling GT. The Virgo & Windsor return, also.

Damn people failing heists! furious I`m still trying to unlock the friggin Civilian Gang Burrito. I wants mah dang A-Team van! Mostly pissed that people leave. Sometimes they stay a couple rounds, then quit. Not that I'm any good, myself. Blind man can't shoot for shit.

Ka-Tra
Gun, and vehicles are available to Single Player, as well as Online.

Online vehicle websites have been updated, and received a visual makeover.

Sterling GT is sooo sweeet! Love the engine sounds, great ride.

Virgo is a nice ride as well. Love how it responds to the potholes, and bumps in the road.

Windsor is pretty neat. Respray menu has various Livery patterns available. Yeti Mall Ninja is camoflage, with the Yeti character amongst the splotches, and blobs.

Osiris reminds me of the GTA SA Turismo, like one of the existing supercars.

Haven`t tried the Combat PDW gun yet. Looks neat.

Friggin hackers! What`s with people taking your weapons?
I had to rebuy my Special Carbine the other day, and earlier today, I had to rebuy my Antique Cavalry Dagger.

Ka-Tra
Got a Gang Burrito now, had a few good games the other day. Bought a Virgo, most of my cars have chrome rims now, full price, as I haven`t unlocked them for Free.

Not THAT hard to make decent money in the game.

Animals that are NEEDED are Bears, and Bees. Remember KILLER BEES?!
Driving through the woods, you see a Bear. It comes up to the car, opens the door by the handle, and hauls you out. You get up, run back to get in the car. The Bear swats the door right off, and pulls you back out. It paws, bites, and pounces on you, growling.

Bees could chase you in a swarm, and give you bullet damage. They would hover above the water if you dive in. Random trees in the woods or forest would have nests.

Impressed by the Delta Marsh, Swamp area on the South side of Fort Zancudo, Vice City definitely needs the Everglades. Crocodiles, Alligators, Tuataras, Iguanas, Pythons, Boas, Rays...

Ka-Tra
Ill Gotten Gains Part 2 Update features on GTA Wiki

Completed the Humane Labs finale the other day with some competent squeakers. Was all our first time. Had some good games recently. Got a bunch of Crate Drops, and now have a 2nd apartment. I needed more space for my cars. I`m currently been searching for a Romero. Now that we have gull wing doors, the DeLorean DMC 12 is an all too obvious future choice.

Love cruisin around in my Virgo.

Clean Voodoo would be nice. Maybe add an Ambulance or Hearse wagon variant.
Beaters would look better with a Rusted Rim option at LS Customs.

Contender was my favorite truck in IV, as a sporty truck, it would be perfect for LS Customs options. Different hood scoops, and or a tonneau cover with a spoiler. One of the Utility Truck variants is based on it.

Paint a Sadler, Metallic Pfister or Schafter purple, the lighter one, with Pearlescent Salmon Pink for the Contender`s Light Purple paint that it sometimes spawns in.

Ka-Tra
Reminder, the Ill Gotten Gains Pt. 2 Update is Tomorrow.

Sah, I say, Sah! I believe the agreement was Deuling Pistols at Dawn.

While I miss the Katana, a Cutlas or Rapier would be neat for an old timey vibe, be it Revolutionaries or Pirates...
A Bayonette attachment would change the melee attack.

Don`t mind me, I`m just thinking about random ideas. One definite improvement in Online Apartments though, seeing the Radio station hub or a way to permanently set it would be nice. Why it changes when I drink Whiskey or randomly, I assume, if other people own the same apt. I don`t know.

Ka-Tra
Finally found a Romero parked outside the Davis Mortuary, Online, a few days ago. It`s matte black, with whitewall freshmesh rims. Didn`t make it purple, like TM`s Shadow. Trying to save up for chrome rims. *Edit, Got chrome Freshmesh whitewalls now.

I didn`t know you could just drop weapons. May not`ve been hackers after all.

Sweet Star Destroyer! The skyscrapers below really make the scene.
Should`ve used Luke`s speeder in the desert...

Oh, a podracing mod would be neat!

I play PS3 online. I just finished earning enough moneys to buy, n mod some sweet rides. Heists are fun, and PAY. When you get decent players.
