Now, a few questions to all who wanna answer... ^^
1) Who are your favourite top 3 characters of Tekken?
2) In what games do you like those characters the best?
3) And what is it about those characters that makes you like them?
1) Heihachi, Zafina and King are probably my three favorites, and my next thre ewould probably be Paul, Dragunov and probably Eddy (though I actually know how to use him, I swear!)
2) Heihachi in Tekken 3, Zafina in Tekken 6 and King in Tekken 6.
3) I've liked Heihachi since Tekken 2. Before that, Paul was my favorite. But Heihachi, for me, has always been great because of how fast he can strike, capitalize on mistakes, and how easily his brief combos can turn in to juggles. Granted, they nerfed him a bit in later games, which is why his Tekken 3 iteration si my favorite, but everything from his throws, to his moves, he's always been one of my favorite fighting game characters.
Zafina is just awesome. Her look, her swaying movement, her styles... To me, she's one of the most unique fighters in the series in terms of her overall character cohesion. She's also one of those characters that I feel I can get a different experience out of every time I use her. While Lei Wulong is a fun character, his style changes never felt quite as natural as hers feel.
King's kinda like Heihachi for me in that he has a punishing style. He might be a little slower, but there are some snap moves that he gets off that can give him space for his combo throws, which I thoroughly enjoy. I also love that he can counter kicks, which makes it alot easier to defend against opponents with King than with Heihachi or Zafina. The funny thing is that I actually hated him in Tekken 3. I thought that he was a bit too one dimensional. Now, of course, he's one of my favorites for sure.

Right now I'm using Lars. I've yet to choose a secondary. I was thinking about using Asuka or Xiaoyu buuuut that ain't happening. Might use Lili though. But for now, trying to learn his moves.

Asuka & Xiao are beast.
Try using Jin, Devil Jin or Kazuya. Great for beginners

I think that for beginners, Eddy Gordo and Christy Montiero are really good as well, though, as they have such a large amount of moves that only focus on the kick buttons. Sure, it'll lead a lot of people to spamming a few combos, but I found that those two are a nice gateway in to the game. You can do cool stuff by button mashing, then go in and learn how you're doing what you're doing, then continue to build off of that.

Okay, I will answer my own questions as well.
Top 3 faves:
- Nina
- Lars
- Kunimitsu
Favourite game appearances:
- Tekken 4
- Tekken 6
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Why:
- Nina was my first choice in the first Tekken, though she first pulled through to me in Tekken 2. I have a thing for the long-legged high-kicking ladies of fighting games and Nina quickly became a favourite character of mine. Her story throughout the games was really good and her outfits were really cool. The reason my favourite version of her is in Tekken 4 is because she suddenly became a really deep character. Her ending in that game showed that she was taken advantage of when she was cryofrozen, that her eggs was stolen from her and experiements were made, one of them turning out to be Steve Fox who is basically Nina's son. Her cold persona was suddenly shattered and there was a great opportunity to seize this chance to make her evolve as a character... but no, Namco had to ruin it by just throwing the storyline down the drain, make Nina and Steve more or less joke characters with no real stories. Such a shame. But either way, her gameplay and her looks in the games are just awesome in my opinion. Not to mention, Nina has her own game called "Death by Degrees" which I just think is awesome! Tekken blended with Metal Gear and a James Bond-esque theme... That's just cool.
- I was a bit iffy about Lars to start with, but as I played through the Scenario Campaign of Tekken 6, he grew on me. I would lose the cape, but his overall looks is really cool, and the way his personality and his story progress throughout the campaign is really good. One of the few characters who actually got some really good story progression in the later games. Plus he looks hot. He's got that Japanese coolness to him along with his Swedish roots to make him hot, and as we all know, Sweden spits out hot people all over the place. Just look at Alex Skarsgård... YUM! But anyways, Lars' gameplay is also really cool, not at all as the other Mishima's, nor is his personality, so I have high hopes for this dude in future games.
- I have always loved Yoshimitsu, he is high up there as one of my favourite characters, due to his unique style and I also have a thing for ninjas... but Yoshi was never really the kind of ninja I would want him to be and though he is still awesome, Kunimitsu tops him just with a few extra points. First of all, she's got red hair. I LOVE red hair! She's got long pigtails which is awesome. She's got that kitsune mask which looks great. And she is more a ninja than Yoshi is. She is basically a Yoshi clone, but had a few moves of her own in Tekken 2, even more moves of her own in the first TTT, but then we kinda never heard from her again... until TTT2 where she has gotten an all new look which looks AMAZING! And her gameplay has been revamped to be alot more unique and her own, so she is no longer a Yoshi clone. SWEET!!! She is the main reason I am going to get TTT2, even if I have to wait a few months to play as her.

Nope, no Tekken, no SC.

Every little bit of media that Namco releases makes me want to pre-order the game. I think I might go and do it next week though I really shouldn't but I've been a long time Tekken fan and I'd be a fool to miss out on a chance on all of the free DLC they're offering for just pre-ordering!
btw...Anna's new swimsuit costume looks a lot like Mileena's alt from Deception. I like.

Scenario Campaign is a bitch.
Stuck on the Mishima Zaibatsu Central Tower level. Nina was moderate, Jin was easy but Alisa is fucking hard & cheap ._.

I've tried Jin, Anna, Christie, Asuka. Xiaoyu, Lars, and Julia. And out of all I feel most comfortable with is probably Julia. I like her moves. They might change when she's Jaycee but no worries. I love how everyone looks in this game. Better graphics means better faces. Better faces mean hotter women. Hotter women means playin with uno hand.

I believe Michelle will take over Julia's fighting style as Julia is now Jay Cee and is a luchadora.

The thing I love about Tekken is it's one of the few games where I can pick it up, try a new character, and immediately become familiar with that character. Tekken does a great job making characters accessible.
Like recently I picked up Xiaoyu and Jack-6. If you would've told me 10 years ago that I would use Xiaoyu, I would think you were insane.
Oh and Whopper and I made a discovery about TTT2's win poses. I'm not sure if this will apply in the final version of the game. But in TTT2 prologue, in order to get a special win pose, both characters have to be a part of the knockout. By that I mean, KO your opponents by tag throws or tag assaults.

Well it kinda makes sense and thanks
I doubt they will have a TTT2 demo since Prologue is a demo. Then again, same goes for DOA5. Eh.
Anyone wanna play? ._.

I wanna work on my Yoshimitsu some more. I've only gotten semi-decent with him but he is a blast to play as.
I borrowed back my copy of Tekken 5 yesterday just to play the Arcade versions of Tekken 123 and I've got to say Tekken 1 has not aged well at all lol.

1. Zafina - T6 her only appearance so far so yea
2. True Ogre - TTT1 the only time i played as him but he looks ALOT better in TTT2
3. Steve - started using him in T4 but i like him the best in T6 since i can custimize
Zafina - She is my main because i love middle eastern girls and their looks, she is also really fun to play as and i like playing as tricky characters. I just like everything about he i hope she stays in the series.
True Ogre - When i first saw him i thought he was so cool since he looked nothing like a tekken character at all and he is just a complete beast and fun to play as, its also great how he seems to be a good teammate for Zafina.
Steve - I am a boxer and so is steve not much else, I love boxing.
i wanna ask how many tekken games youve played/owned and which on was your favorite
I own T4,TTT1 and T6 and i know ived played some on arcade machines but i can't remember which ones. I probably enjoyed TTT1 the most

Zafina is indeed a really cool character, but I suck at playing as her.
Also, as a boxer, how do you find Steve's style in the game?
