I was watching a few episodes of the Angry Video Game Nerd, and I was thinking of a lot of terrible Nintendo games that he hadn't even reviewed or mentioned. I thought the theme would make a good thread, so here we go: What do you deem as the worst Nintendo(NES) game ever made, and why?
I'd have to say that the biggest waste of my life was Where's Waldo because the game simply doesn't work. You're more likely to strike oil when you accidentally drop your toothbrush than finding Waldo in this game. I made the huge mistake of renting it once as a little kid. I was hoping the game would break so mom would rent another game for me.

Of course that one was terrible. It was a complete ripoff of another game. Seriously...it was a direct, advertised ripoff.

The worst NES game I played was Zelda II: Link's Adventure.

I would have to say that lode runner is the worst game ever created because the main character was so powerless and had awful music.

That game sucks true, but I'll fight you just for fun. You can challeng me for my local Irish bar rules championship. No blocking, no ducking, keep your hands up and protect your nuts :b
Anyway I wuld have to say that Zelda 2 was the most disapointing sequal of all time, but I beleive that the punisher was the worst nintendo game ever.
SMB2 is fine. Just because it's basically another game, with a few minor tweaks and a change of sprites, doesn't make it a terrible game; certainly not the most terrible game on the NES. Not by a long shot. Whoever says otherwise is clearly not a seasoned NES gamer, and was probably born after 1990.
But anyway, it's hard to say just which game is thee worst NES game there is; there are so many games on it that are utter crap. If I had to pick one I've played, though, it'd have to be Captain Planet. As much as I love Captain Planet, the NES game was just awful.

Oh your right that game did suck, I forgot about that. Ugg, I have tried to block out so many of these games. Mule comes to mind too, does anyone remember that rank pile of ass? You see, you are an alien farmer and you auction off your crops, and then other alien farmers buy them. It's a farming competition in space....extreme sim farmer wohooo!

True, though I was born in 1987. But what makes SMB2 a terrible game is that it just doesn't ever feel like Mario. I mean, when you jump on something in that game, you don't kill it. That's the essence of the old Mario games; that you simply had to jump on most enemies and they go down. You may be right in that it isn't the worst game, seeing some of the other forgettable titles mentioned here, but in my opinion that was the worst of the games that should have been good. To me, that game is just unplayable (even though there have been some great hacks... Super Wario Bros. 2 comes to mind)

Double Dare. That's another really crappy NES game that the world could have done without.

You should try jumping on enemies in Mario Bros. without first bumping them from underneath. You can't without dying.
Yes, I said Mario Bros.
Note the lack of the word "Super".

Karate Kid just plain sucked. There's no other way to explain it. Ghostbusters could have used a point really bad. I hated that game too. I mean what could be more fun in a game than running out of gas and pushing your car? Brilliant.
