Why would Grodd be the sub-boss? That makes no sense. I can't see Ares as boss either. If anything, Ares would probably move heaven and earth to stop this regime because it cuts him off from his source of power, namely war.
Given what we currently know about the story, I think it's far more logical to see Superman himself as the boss. Heck, maybe they'll even pull a Civil War on us that lets you decide on who's side you're on, effectively changing the boss character between Superman and Batman depending on your choice.

I'm trying to find the link but there was a Brazilian website that claimed that Injustice has three sub-bosses like MK9 did and that one of the bosses was Gorilla Grodd and the main boss was Ares.
Yeah, I think I have to eat my words. I read another piece today that said that Injustice has a big unplayable sub-boss (like Goro and Kintaro)... so Grodd seems possible after all. I wonder how they'll explain it in the comics.
As for the boss, according to a Belgian website, Hector Sanchez said during the demo in Amsterdam that the boss will be who everyone's probably thinking it's going to be... only in a permanent powered-up state. So I stand by my guess that it's going to be Superman.

So it's Superman as the boss and Gorilla Grodd as the sub-boss......I'd like to know why Grodd and Superman are working together? Where did you read about the big unplayable sub-boss?

you know since the injustice fb page is asking fans who they want black adam to fight can we assume maybe he could take on superman in the arena battle thus having adam win do to magic?

The battle arena only has Batman vs. Flash and Green Lantern vs. Superman.
I don't think Black Adam can get in unless they do something silly like say Green Lantern is "hurt" and can't face Superman

I;m gonna say Doomsday is the likely sub-boss if it's supposed to be a big creature. The fact that he's playable doesn't really matter. I don't see Grodd as being anything more than a background character, not do we have any reason to believe so. Not trying to crush any hopes, just putting my bet on the more likely scenario. I mean heck, Doomsday IS in the background of the Fortress of Solitude, it makes much more sense as to why he would be there. The history between the two also makes more sense why he would be the sub-boss.

Okay so Doomsday is the sub-boss because he once killed Superman? I'm confused by your logic lol

My logic is, if it's going to be a "big monster" character, Doomsday actually has history and a connection with Superman. Having Doomsday essentially as Superman's guard dog makes much more sense than Gorilla Grodd. I think it's a case of you wanting it to be Grodd, so you think it is logical, when it's not. It would be quite random. Given the choices, if it had to be the big monster character, Doomsday makes complete sense. He defeated Superman, and now he's working for him. Be it because he agrees with Superman's new stance, or because Superman labotomizes him or manipulates him. We still have no idea why Doomsday is in the Fortress of Solitude. That's Superman's secret location. For him to just be chilling there in the background seems odd, and will likely be explained.
What reason would there be for Grodd to randomly start working for Superman? I'm not saying Grodd isn't possible, i'm saying it makes far more sense for it to be Doomsday. But hey, you never know.

Well you are correct that I want Grodd in the game but the logic that I'm using for this is there have been times in comics and cartoons that Gorilla Grodd has told Superman that they could rule the world if they work together like in the episode of Justice League "Secret Society".
