Hawkgirl and Harley, I just can't think of a 3rd. MAYBE Nightwing because of his alt. Red symbol, long hair. Looks like a full on badass.

No different from Poison Ivy, really. He controls all plant life. Can't be any harder than incorporating a fighting who lives in the ocean and controls all sea-life.

Just about anybody can be made to work. It's a fighting game...it's not that hard to come up with stuff that's fun to do, and cool to see.

Even though I agree with the above two posts, it does bother me when characters are able to do things that aren't possible within their abilities. For example, that ground portal Aquaman uses with his trident rubs me the wrong way. Why is he able to do that?

I would say the same about the hydrokinesis, but I'm hearing conflicting reports on whether he has that power or not.
EDIT: And yes, I realize that being able to summon an ocean shark in the middle of outer space shouldn't be possible, but to me, it's self-aware to the point that it's not a problem. Upon seeing that, I thought, "well, they violated logic for the sake letting the character traits shine. On the other hand, the trident portal just feels phoned in.

You could also turn it around and say that if he wasn't able to do those things and NRS had to make it 100% realistic... Aquaman would be one of the most boring characters to play as, simply because his powers aren't really possible to get into play.

Sometimes the rules need to be bent for a character to become interesting and fun to play as.

Aquaman knows magic. I think in the game the trident is magic.

What's got me scratching my head is his throw move. Did he just summon lightning?

Lol at "Maining" half the roster. That's not really maining. Id consider "mains" to be 3 tops. But this game looks like your going to need at least 3 characters. So diverse. I've decided on 4, and that is FAR out my comfort zone. 2 will likely just be for bad matchups. But it needs to be done. It seems we are seeing buffs rather than nerfs, to balance. I love this angle. Makes every character better, and deeper.

Lets be honest. When you get into a real match for the primary intention of winning, your going to have 2-3 people that you will turn to, first. This 10 (I've seen up to 15) character "Main" lists, make me literally facepalm.

I love the excitement, on the other hand. Good stuff.

i dont know about that. i kind of see swamp thing as more of a stage type finisher at best

also i think ( not 100% sure) nrs may just only rock with a roster people fans and non fans know about

swamp thing didnt make a big come back till i think the brightest day story line wich was a wtf moment for me and not in a bad way. just seemed very unexpected.

i think they may throw in dome one from jla dark like constatine or deadman

@SmokeMan14, You are correct sir. Atlanteans are magic users, and there are different magical scepter's in Atlantean Lore. The King's trident allows the user to control the weather and summon lightning. Another trident, the "first king's scepter" actually created earthquakes, which is what initially sank Atlantis. OceanMaster's trident allows him to be Hydrokinetic. So my guess is that NRS just decided to give Aquaman a superpowerful scepter, w/ multiple abilities. He summons lightning, is hydrokinetic, AND he has that strange portal move TempUserName hates. LoL, I hate it too

1. Soloman Grundy hands down. His gameplay looked like the most fun and I've never really gotten into grapple characters before. Unless jax from MK9 counts??

2. Bane because he's badass.

3. Batman OR Superman OR The Flash and I'll decide once I've seen all of their gameplay. So far Batman looks like the most versatile and the most cool.

Even though I'm starting to get ridiculously excited for this game, I've never been a HUGE DC fan. I've always kinda leaned towards Marvel, although I still have some favorite DC graphic novels and loved the Nolan movies. But that said I'm not really tied to any character like I am with MK, so if any of the ones I listed are absolute bottom tier I'll probably give them up pretty easily. Although Grundy would be tough cause he just looks like so much fun to play as. And who knows, this games got me watching Justice League stuff so I can learn about the characters so maybe I'll have favorites I'll feel compelled to main or at least get good with by time the game comes out. Thats part of the fun tho

Ok I am going to add Black Adam it looks like he will be playable after watching Lex Luthor's story trailer.

I never knew who Black Adam was before but I think he looks cool in this game and his Egyptian style is cool so I looked up his story and stuff and now I am a Black Adam fan and he looks like potential main if he's playable.

I think that Grodd will be a hidden fight
