Im thinking we might see an MK character (Scorpion) in this...Like how Kano appeared in the Batman IOS game.

Ed mentioned in the interview that some of Solomon Grundy's special moves is that he can pull knives and other objects out of his back and use them as weapons, so I'm thinking its nothing more than that IMO.

Anyhoo, hopefully the game will be less comic bookish and takes on a more dark, gritty turn, much like The Dark Knight.

If I had to guess, this game probably means that the next MK won't come out until the next gen consoles arrive, which was already a fairly easy assumption to make. Truth be told, I'm okay with that.

I'd read a rumor a while back that NRS was trying to acquire the Killer Instinct license from Rare, so a small part of me is a bit disappointed that we couldn't see that game get made instead of this one, but that was probably never a realistic possibility begin with.

Regardless, as it stands, this game looks intriguing. I don't know if it's a must-buy based on what I've seen so far, but I'm guessing that as more and more gets revealed, my interest will increase.

On a side note, call me crazy, but I kinda would've preferred a fighting game that was solely based on the Batman universe. I mean, a game with these characters would be pretty sweet, I think:

Either way, if this Injustice is half as good as NRS last effort, I'll buy it for sure. I just hope that I'll see a lot more in the coming months that moves me from intrigued to ecstatic about it.

Well, I am in. This is NRS afterall. I have actually loved what I saw there the designs and all. But like what a few of you have been saying, Ealy trailers have never been th best thing from NRS. Next week is when we hear more about it, but there has never been an mk game without a unique idea (whether good or bad) so, excited.

I'm sure Green Lantern will be in there, he's a DC icon. Deathstroke was awesome in MKvDC, hope he's in it too.

Well I'm glad to say this, congrads on NRS for coming up with a new IP. Trailer looks solid, must see gameplay.

Meh it could be worth a rent but I'm not as into DC as much as MK.

Good for NRS though they could use a break from Mortal Kombat.

Hopefully there's no MK character in it.

I'm definitely going to be following this game, and may go as far as pre-ordering.

I wonder if they'll have more DLC, as well, given the success it brought MK9.

Aye, you're right. I could also see a Red Lantern showing up since DC's giving them a lot of facetime these days (primary antagonists in the cartoon series and they have their own comic). Atrocitus would be the most obvious choice, but if they wanted to up the boob factor they'd go with Bleez. And although it wouldn't happen, I would pre-order as soon as I could, if I found out I could rip shit up as Dex-Starr. EDIT: While Patrick Seitz did a decent portrayal as DS in MKvsDCU, Ron Perlman is my favorite actor, and if the character returns, I'd like to see him return as well.

Ok, this looks very interesting. My favorite part is that they seem to be going the road of making the battles seem very over the top (like comic battles should be). Although, I'll admit I'm not exactly sure how Batman kicking Grundy up into the air far enough and with enough force to send him through a building and beyond works...but anyway.

From the trailer it looks like we can count on seeing either Mr. Freeze or Captain Cold (based on that ice attack that's being made against Flash).

Others I'd like to see are:

Black Canary

Green Lantern (doesn't really matter which)

Green Arrow

Wildcat

Cheetah

Black Adam

Vandal Savage

that's just a few off the top of my head. Though if I had to be just four off the list I'd choose Black Canary, Black Adam, Cheetah and Green Arrow.

I'll be watching this closely. I'm glad that NRS are deciding to make a different fighting franchise. So long as they don't forget about Mortal Kombat, I'm cool with it.

I love the detail on Grundy's tombstone, including his real name (Cyrus Gold) being etched on it.

NRS developing a DC fighter? I'm definitely on board.

Not impressed with the trailer, especially the fighting scenes and at this point I'm not interested either. Aside from enjoying Batman movies, I've never really cared about superhero movies, comics and stuff like that. Best of luck to NRS though!

After listening to the interview I'm kinda bummed. It sounds gimmicky with gimmick features. Just give me a fighter as good as MK9 with DCU character and I'll be happy.

All I need is Hal Green Lantern and Sinestro. Those would be my two characters I'll jump too. If there is any sign of the Red Lanterns being playable, that would be swell too. Bleez and Atrocitus come to mind.

My interest level is about zilch. Disappointed but not surprised.
