God forbid someone like Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Clayface, or R'as takes the place of Copperhead, Cheetah, Bizarro, Professor Zoom, Captain Cold, Black Manta, Ares, or Mirror Master.
Yes, yes...I know. Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, Black Adam, Huntress, Black Canary, Zatanna, Sinestro...all of which are going to be locks for DLC if they didn't feel they were fitting to the story or main roster.
Just because there happens to be more characters related to Batman(even though almost all of them have their own comic series and aren't just "Batman characters" anymore), than any of the other respective franchises individually, doesn't mean the roster is ruined. It means the roster has recognizable faces, with characters that they required to fit a certain role in the story. Nobody is just thrown in to be thrown in. Not one "Batman character" will be in the game just because they like Batman, they are in to serve a specific purpose in the story, and because people will actually want to use them.
So don't be so hastey to throw all hope away because one franchise is more represented than another. That particular franchise just has more to pick from than others. X-men usually has quite a dominant presence in Marvel games, that's just how it is when you have so many recognizable popular characters. If all franchises were relegated to the same amount of people in the game, this game would have one crappy roster.

It's right at the part where they ask Ed, why/how they go about choosing who they include in the game. His answers: 1. Recognizability 2. Fitting the story(have relations to the other characters and can play off them in story, if they have no relation to any of the characters then they omit them) 3. Obscure (unexpected, won't see coming). Reason why they wouldn't choose someone, because there's already someone that fills that role or plays the same. So no Professor Zoom because there's already Flash etc.

I understand man just you know I'd love to see some other characters thrown in there martian manhunter, captain cold, ares, doomsday, sinestro, captain marvel just to mix things up. Don't get me wrong I think all batman characters are probably the most well known in the DC universe and seeing them in this game would be great but also I'd hate to know if a character didn't make this game and left out, but I have high hopes no matter what characters or what I'm sure the game and all the hard work will pay off when April comes and it's time to get it. Plus I'm sure the DLC will be good so I have hope for that

The same kind of Passions Comic Book Nerds like me who pour money into comic related items, figures, comic books, posters type of passion.
The feeling of supporting that character by going out and purchasing anything related to show your support.
Maybe I'm wrong. But can't sales alone justify whether something that does good or bad will succumb to being either popular enough to sell more or, just taken off the market completely due to lack of sales.
Every member on this forum has something for this game they want in it, if not already in. People like Nick who I talk to on FB a lot about Grodd and Manhunter. We've had many discussions on these characters.
Temp is another great user who I hope get's his BB. Everyone deserves a chance.
So in response to the whole "Obsession" thing. It's not an Obsession I do have a life outside comics and gaming. But being a comic nerd is also a keen interest of mine that I take seriously.
MM being the first character who took my interest as a kid, being that he wasn't Human or an Entity. But a Outcast from another planet, accepted into Earth as a civilian hero was always something that Interest me.
At the time of comics. Alien Superheros wasn't really a big thing. But he enforced that state of mind and left an impact on me as a fan.
I don't run around my house dressed in green paint with glowing red eyes.
But I do have the passion for the character like those who were on Stan Lee's: Who Wants to Be a Superhero? show. Those type of people who were on there were Inspired by comic characters to come up with and portray their "own" Influenced super hero identity.
So again, and for the last time. I'm not Obsessed. Just very much passionate of Manhunters success in the comic world. Even If I'm not entirely responsible for what happens. I will still support to no end.

I know bro. I'm pretty confident in his DLC chances. Since he most likely will be. I hope for at least a top 3 spot of released characters.
