Martian Manhunter = Fan Pick
Red Hood = Bat Character (Another Fan Favorite)
Power Girl = Supes Character (Mega-Tits)
Sub-Zero = MK Character (Boon loves him)


Now that MMH is all but confirmed (Not to mention Ed Boon tweeting a rabid MMH fan on twitter a Guns N' Roses song called "Patience"), I happy with the DLC. Would have liked Black Manta, but beggars can't be choosers.

Perhaps Lobo will be pushed to the other side when more characters are downloaded?

Even if it's the same source as the first round of seemingly accurate DLC spoilers, I'm not holding my breath. I'll go ahead and assume Zod and Scorpion are really in the first season pass of DLC. But until we get OFFICIAL confirmation that we're even getting a second round, and they confirm the first DLC character of the second round, I call BS.

Sub-Zero is not a favorite choice for me. I love MK but the point was to keep them out of Injustice. This just doesn't make sense. If he's in, I'd really like to see his Deception look. That Shredder helmet was badass! Him and Scorpion need to just have amazing looks and gameplay for me to gain interest. I'm honestly happier with this list of characters than the current Season Pass!

I mean, MM is kind of needed and Red Hood has a lot of potential to be really, really cool. Power Girl better be a lot different from Superman and Zod though.

Of course more DLC is good, but it could be much better. I love DC and to see such a restricted and redundant roster is disheartening.

It's rather formulaic. But, we have enough safe characters. Let's try introducing players to some of the more obscure but equally as awesome DC characters.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to purchase all DLC for this game, as I love it and want to support it, but I can still give my two cents about a lackluster choice of characters for DLC.

She is ABSOLUTELY a better choice than Batgirl. The difference: people were actually asking for Powergirl to be in the game.


I half agree with the part about the guest characters, but similar powers/abilities is not a standard by which to include/exclude characters. Powers are just a small fraction of what a character is. What ultimately matters is their presentation and the unique personality which shines through. That's it. You could have an entire cast of ice characters and make them all interesting.

Trust me, I'm not crazy about Red Hood either, but if that's what the majority of fans want, that's who should be in. If his powers aren't unique, his presentation will be.

I'm aware that canonical powers don't define a moveset. I gave an example of my views towards it with Powergirl and Supes. Regardless, when you have two characters that are so similar in their themes... it just feels like a waste. I fucking LOVE Sub-Zero. Seriously. It's unhealthy how much I love that character... but there are just more diverse characters that are BEGGING to be added to this game.

I hope this is true, I'm happy with the extra 8 characters (assuming it does happen). I'll just wait for the complete edition that will come out at the end of the year at a discounted price with all the added characters. Injustice is a pretty solid game.

That is what I believe that unofficial DLC poll was for. It gives the characters like Black Canary and Swampthing to make the game. Hopefully they have one or two characters after this...

We both know that's not the only reason people like Powergirl. Some people find the "Supes" powers more interesting in the context of a female. When you approach godhood with female sentiments, experiences, and perspectives, the character takes on a different dimension. Some may say it's a better dimension. None of us are in a position to generalize the Powergirl fans, though.


In the initial roster, I kinda agree. I don't think any one area of the DC universe should be overemphasized unless there is a clear demand for such. I don't think that applies to DLC though. I really don't want Red Hood. I loved the animated movie, but I'd rather have Ivy if we're going to Batman route, even if only for COLOR diversity. I feel like when I turn on this game on, all I see is red, black and blue. Fighting a Green Arrow is such a breath of fresh air.

I want Blue Beetle so bad, but if the fans want Red Hood, then that's who should be in.


I agree. However, if people keep buying guest characters, Warner Bros is going to think "the people want guest characters." When people bought Freddy, they said "Yes" to Scorpion in Injustice. It sucks that that's how it works, but that's the industry.

I'm willing to bet that 90% of the people that voted for Powergirl have never read a comic with her in it and that they only voted for her because of her tits.

If Beetle wasn't in the poll, I would have voted for her. And not because of the tits (that's what google is for).

Haven't read one of her comics, but so what? To me, she adds aesthetic elements that none of the other females add.

My biggest gripe is No Secret Fights, No Alternate Costumes, No Archive Slots to view costumes or endings(NRS didn't learn from MK9 DLC) and MMH should have been in the game from the start.
