Well, I just got done watching tonight's episode. I have to say that it was nicely deceptive, initially appearing as a mere filler. Thankfully, we get some actual plot developments, and I'm glad to see Lionel back.

Couldn't have said it any better. Pretty interesting development with Lana. I also liked all the hinting going on in the episode with clarks future, and the red cape at the end.

I saw that Kara bit before i switched to Spike for TNA. Look's good indeed bro.

As I anticipated, this wasn't a filler episode indeed at first it seemed that way from last weeks preview but I said to myself and even posted about it a few posts back in here hehe, that lionel would show up or something.

Was I right?

He's cunning as usual IMMEDIATELY knowing lana set him up lol, man I can see she's changed or hides this "darkness" about her, even from Clark.

She probably figures, well Clark hid his secret from me forever....before I found out and he told me so I'll be sneaky too for a while.

Now as far as the end, can someone please fill me in on the scene with Lex talking to the "obsessed comic book fan" at the end, I saw part of it because today at work I found someones phone and called them earlier so they came to pick it up, so I missed that 40 seconds of that scene.

I did see Lex HOPING to find out something about Clark but the rest of that convo I missed a little.

As for Christina Millian, OMG....I'm not really into black chicks but GOOD GOD she's fucking hot, I'd be spending lots of time on my knees for her hehe

As for CM, Damn right she's sexy. & She's not just BLACK, lol. She's African, Spanish, Cuban, Descent. I noticed today how tall she was. lol. Me being 6'6" i'd have to carry her around wherever i went haha. Aquaman would be a good addition for Smallville. He could fit in place as the guy who wake's up Kara in the dam.

Yeah, like I said, Christina Milian is hot. The part at the end where Clark hangs the cape is a little strange, something I forgot to bring up. mkflegend, you're likely going to be right about the whole Clark/Lana thing. It'd be interesting to see what Kara would be like under the influence of Red K, but that might be a part of next week's episode.

Now for you, lol you are correct and this cape/material didn't have an S on it either. I think this was just a one time thing "hinting" at the future costume for Clark which you can see he's intrigued by the "red" cloth gig.

About Chloe, I think her getting over Jimmy is just an act and that she really does feel bad.

Lois' part in the episode seemed more like a mere plot device, even though it was essential. Hopefully they'll do a bit more with her later.

Well, the next episode is up in a couple of days, and I really look forward to it.

Yeah, actually there was one other thing I missed since my family came in and interrupted.

The part with lois and her boss, is she still with the Daily Planet or did she get canned or quit?

My family was talking to me and I missed what they said, I know he was upset with her a little and she disagreed but that's all I know.

If I remember correctly, he fired her, because she didn't listen to him and pursued the whole Luthor story anyway.

that would be about the only way to get him to fly, so he'd better drink up!!

Great episode, I loved the back story. Kara looked amazing as well.

Since most of us have already seen the episode tonight, I'm not going to use spoilers, but I really don't think thats Klarks monthers DNA, but Zore-el's (or posibly both of thiers). Rember during the flashback he said he wanted to rule earth, and about his science and how he managed to clone Klarks's mother. He also said she would be with him someday, and Kara made some kind of mention about the crystal being imprtant at the beging of the season something about her fathers plan. I think Zoe-El lied to her, and it's his way to come back with Jor-El out of the way he doesn't see anyone to stop him.

Just my theory about how the season is going to play out though.

to mkflegend: Yeah, I know what you mean in regards to Simmons when compared to the agent guy in Smallville. About the clip you're talking about, apparently, those little crystals are sentient.
