On tonights show, interesting show 4.9/5 I rate it.
The blue crystal that had Lara's DNA material to more or less bring back a "clone ghost" is what I'd like to call it since at one point she even said, "your mother is dead" the Kent's raised you well
But yeah, on the show interesting. So we learn some interesting surprises such as

NO damn previews...=freaking reruns, question is this, is it because of the dumb TV show writers LA striker or because it's just Smallville's time for a rerun?
Either way I look forward to future shows, big tease at the end of this show tonight..

Apparently Julian, Lex's "supposedly dead brother" is in fact alive and Lionel has no idea of it...why would he want to kill Julian though? This puzzles me a bit but we'll find out in time...lex could be bsing as usual, but this definitely adds a "twist" to the story that's for sure. Lois and him still like each other but that will end at some point down the line.

Lana looks like she's trying to change back to her oldschool, sweety self, we'll see thru time but it won't be easy, she's still changed but you can tell there's still some old lana left. Lara saw the good in Lana, ohh and we finally saw "Blue Kryptonite" no doubt Bizarro will show up and that will most likely come in handy at some point.

Jor-El apparently is pissed at Kal-El aka Clark, and I wonder what the hell happened to Clark at the end there with that light.......was that his punishment? or was the fact that Kara disappeared with a lost mind it and that's something different? hmm you know he didn't kill him or harm him but I have a feeling it has something to do with Kara obviously.....her being lost in Detroit with no memory is definitely Jor-El's doing I'm sure or the consequence of Clark releasing Lara, but also Zor-El in the process...

I must say that this episode is very interesting and strange at the same time. I'm going to break it down like this:
Kryptonian side
So it's true that Zor-El is released from the Crystal along with Lara. It's nice to see Helen Slater again, and she looks quite beautiful of course. *cough*MILF*cough*
Ahem...*clears throat* Lara is of course good looking as always. The bit near the end with her is really strange and unexpected. I guess we're just going to have to see how that story develops.
I like that we get to see Lionel, only if it's a minor thing. Speaking of minor, I really thought that we weren't going to see Lana in this episode, but instead, we do, which is another strange thing about this episode.
For some reason, when I hear Zor-El's voice, I think of Liam Neeson. Don't ask. I just do. The bit with the blue ring is strange and seems to act like it affects Clark the same way the Red Sun does.
The part at the end of the episode is bizarre and leaves up the imagination of what's going to happen.
Daily Planet side
There isn't too much to say here. Although Chloe is right, I get the feeling that she's a bit frustrated about not having a boyfriend anymore, but I could be wrong.
The stuff between Lois and Grant was predictable, especially in the part where they are trying to break up with each other, only to kiss and grope like crazy.
Now although it was expected that Grant and Lex were in cahoots together, it had been rather ambiguous as to what they were up to until this episode. Not only do we get the revelation that Lex is trying to eventually overthrow his father, but we also get the revelation that Grant Gabriel is really Julian Luthor, Lex's little brother...DUN DUN DUN!!! That should be rather interesting...

lol! I had to be crazy enough to say it.
Although I do think Smallville is getting more interesting, there are some aspects about it that kind of make the show more predictable, such as the concussions and other little bits.
I still feel that Blue was a strange episode, especially since blue K took away Clark's powers and that this episode wasn't about the return of Bizarro.

Nice episode. Just got done watching it since I recorded it like usual.
No preview of next week means now that Smallville's taking a break now from new episodes. Most likely, we won't get any new episodes until maybe mid-January, early February. Can't wait.

I think Zor-El designed the blue crystal so that if it was ever destroyed, not only would he be destroyed, but instead of his daughter being destroyed (since he wouldn't go that far towards his own daughter), he instead designed so that Kara would be teleported to another location with her memory erased. "Punishing" Kal-El, so to speak.

As far as Grant being Julian Luthor, I thought it was just some super secret project or somethin that Grant was apart of with Lex, but him really being Julian Luthor was definitely a shock to me.

Then at the end with Clark and Jor-El's flash of light, I think now Jor-El is going to complete Clark's "evolution" and grant him the ability to fly now. Or maybe I'm way off, and it will be a real punishment.

As far as the Blue K, it was an interesting take on it. I think it was like that partially because of Zor-El's master plan as Blue K hurts Bizarro and not Superman(it didn't kill Superman though)

Well I watched Seasons 1-3 when it first came out. But then for some reason I stopped watching it. Then I saw a commercial a few weeks ago that showed Kara Zor-El and I thought was exciting. So I picked up the Season 4-6 DVDs and watched all of them. I was able to watch all of Season 7 so far online, too. I'm so glad I'm back into this show!

The recent episode I saw where Clark wakes up in a mental asylum was a breath of fresh air for me. The whole thing kept me engaged and in suspense as to just what the hell was going on, instead of the typical 'new villain comes along, Clark fights him/her, Clark wins' plot like the previous villain of the week episodes. I'm not sure if this is the latest episode you've all seen lately, but I watch Smallville on HDNET every Monday at 8.00 PM.
Oh and could someone give a link (or message it to me, if it's not allowed to post) where you can stream Smallville episodes? I really need to catch up on lots of the episodes I missed.
