I was also in denial at first too dude, but if you look at the comments on youtube, and IMDB among some other movie sites Man of Steel isn't even nearly done yet and states in pre-production or not even started yet on other sites....

I also believed it was convincing but what I did was checked out other movies sites as just stated and re-watched a lot of these "Man of Steel teasers" non of them are from WB official trailers either....they're all users that posted them, that's another thing.

Yeah, I hope we do see an actual official trailer soon. Supposed to come out next year. That's one thing for sure lol

I have a feeling Lex is going to somehow get knocked unconscious, or maybe Jor El takes away his memory of who Clark really is somehow. That's the only way I can see it fitting in with the numerous battles Lex and Superman have in the future. You'd think he'd tell the world who Superman really is if he knew (which he now does), or try to hurt those close to him, but I just don't think he'll know for much longer once Season 8 comes along. It'd be too risky. He just isn't supposed to know Superman's true identity.

Also, about that fake Man of Steel trailer, it WAS pretty convincing til' the end. Especially the beginning where Perry White mentioned "What's the story on that big chunk of whatever Superman pulled out of the ocean?" then the other guy says something along the lines of "It's set into orbit between Mars and Jupiter and laced with kryptonite." That makes me think the next villain is going to be Doomsday. Because, from what I know Doomsday was supposedly found underground (referring to the recent animated movie), it'd make sense for him to be embedded within that huge island Superman threw into space. Then he ends up breaking out and going to Earth, causing a bunch of mayhem, etc.

I mean, maybe it's just me but I think it'd definitely be cool to see a live-action version of a badass-looking killing machine like Doomsday with kryptonite spikes protruding from his body n stuff, engaging in an extremely intense and brutal battle with Superman. It would certainly be more of a threat than the past movie villains.

It would also be nice to see Superman extremely pissed off for the first time, giving it his all and showing just what he's capable of.

Very interesting theory on both fronts, Smallville I definitely see something like that happening. Or something, we'll see

Doomsday theory on Man of Steel is interesting, you see though originally Doomsday(in the comics) came ancient Krypton or was made some shit. I forgot exactly, I'll have to recheck. In the animated movie he came from the core of Earth like he did coming out of that spaceship lol. They didn't really explain much in the cartoon movie.

But that would interesting, I don't think that will happen but that would be the bomb if it did.

Seeing Superman vs. Doomsday in a movie=best comic book film EVER! lol

Sadly, I wouldn't in a way want to see this because it might mean Superman's death temporarily....

Or maybe they can do something say that his son can fly and had powers, helps him and Doomsday kills his son and pisses off Superman, and Superman kills Doomsday

I think personally it might be Darkseid or possibly Brainiac....over Doomsday but we'll see...

The Man of Steel will have more action, more baddies so it'll be much better then Returns I'm sure. And like you said, that on top of Lex coming back....

hehe, Looks like Brainaic might not be dead afterall...he might come back, Supergirl is out as a regular but will appear in a few shows, GA is a regular replacing no doubt regulars Rosenbaum, Kruek(who as in the updates are mentioned as part timers will appear here and there) I think GA becoming a regular is awesome, hint, hints at a JL/GA spinoff series? hehe)

I'm still kind of iffy on how they're going to handle Doomsday, and I wouldn't be happy if Supergirl wasn't a regular. I mean, they introduce her in Season 7 and now they're not having her as a regular? That doesn't sound right to me, and I hope that won't be true. I'll watch Smallville until the series ends, and maybe I'll do a reflecting back as best as I remember it all.

Yeah man, I was a little shocked and disappointed to read about Supergirl too but I think some fans believe it or not actually hated the idea of her involvement. I mean, to some degree I agree since the actress herself said "although she was shocked, she understands this show is about "Superman" not "Supergirl" and that she was honored. I can live with that.

To be honest, she wasn't even in season 7 as much as I would have liked or thought initially but she was a cool character.

I think it might have something to do with two things with why Supergirl isn't coming back as a regular. A. fans bitched about it B.The original creators/producers left the show so due to that, new people are taking over for the final season of Smallville so I take it that might have something to do with it.

I'm also a little curious to see how they do Doomsday, but I think it sounds cool.

Also, the Lex thing IMO makes sense. He has to leave or disappear for a while otherwise he'll find out Clark's "Superman" right now he just knows he's "the traveler" but doesn't know he's "Superman per-se"

I'm curious about this Tess character and also this new female villian who will give Clark/Superman a run for his money, wonder who the hell it can be? Unless it's someone made up completely....

Hopefully Doomsday is justly done, and is not crap. But with how well they've done Brainiac, I doubt there's anything to worry about

No big loss with Supergirl, imho, it's not like she was a pivatol character, she was brought in to develop a bit of the plot for Season 7, and if she's not a regular any more, oh well, the show will go on

Yep, read all about it dude. Good stuff : ) I think they're being very careful about the whole "Lex" thing and will be one of those things explained over the course of time. Obviously since Lex and Superman have a rivalry going on, and Lex can't know that Clark is Superman this was done.

But it looks good, also as I believe I already brought up couple posts ago. GA will be a regular to replace Lex, Lana and Supergirl. Supergirl will pop up here and there I've read, with possibilities of MMH, Brainiac and possible Justice Leaguers popping up but those guys aren't guaranteed with the exception of Clark(Superman) and Green Arrow(Oliver)

GA and MMH are good, but I could give a shit about Supergirl, she served zero purpose last season, and why ain't she a regular character, actress decision or producers or what?
