Well, as I said, you of all people should know that anything and everything can happen on this show. The debate on Bizarro, I knew you and Minion were right, but that don't mean you're always right! tongue

Any who, I watched the show tonight, and it was pretty good stuff:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)

The US Government at it's finest, suspecting Chloe of being a terrorist, and then using Jimmy to get the dirt on her; then...'gasp' Lex clears her and everything is straightened out, cause Lex things of everyone at the Daily Planet as his 'family', but wait, wasn't Chloe fired? Here's the twist, Lex tells Jimmy, that as 'family' we do these things for eachother and when Lex wants something, he knows Jimmy will do it! No Brainiac or Kara in this episode, but a new plot twist/question: Are Kara and Brainiac back on Krypton circa the past so Brainiac can kill an infant Clark? If so, Clark needs to find a way to get to the past and save himself. Very interesting!

Good show tonight, interesting how they focused mainly on Chloe and Jimmy mixing in with the whole Lex and FBI bitch blackmailing Jimmy to work for her thinking Chloe is working for some kind of terrorist LMAO...

Yeah, they're called Superman and the Justice League lol.

Clark actually wasn't in this show that much surprisingly....nor was lana, Brainiac taking Kara apparently BACK in time is rather interesting gotta love those time traveling paradox situations...lol

I wonder what the hell Clark is going to do, will Jor-El train him to fly? So he can literally some how find Kara back in 1989 on Krypton before it blew up? Or will he have to do something in the fortress to fix things...

It should all play out interesting.

Lex no doubt saved Chloe for his own benefit in some way, and will be holding that "future favor" over Jimmy's head forever...lol

You know Lex of all people NEVER does anything "for free" or out of the "kindness of his heart"....

Next week's looks interesting, the parallel universe/alternate Earth show that I've read a lot about. A world without Superman...

The episode was alright, but it felt weird not having Clark all that much in it. That NSA woman was a real bitch. Lex is a real bastard. The stuff with the journal was strange, and I look forward to next week's episode.

What I don't get is why waste time doing a stupid fucking "world without Clark" crapfest? Just get on with the real damn story and quit with the crap! I don't want to see anothe tired old "alternate reality" episode, they've been done to death, just get Clark back in time and fighting Brainiac, that's what I want to see. furious sleep

Yeah, these past few episodes there hasn't been much action at all. Clark is pretty much useless, hardly ever uses his powers anymore...I dunno, it just feels like they're dragging the show on with a bunch of unnecessary crap.

Just this last episode seemed like a major filler to me, 90% Chloe and Jimmy.

Clark uses his powers but the past few shows he hasn't much, but he will...give it time and soon I bet no doubtwink

Hey Sub, I was LOL@ your NSA commenttongue you know what that means in sexual terms right?tonguegrin

She seemed like that "dominatrix" type ha, ha

I think the parallel universe show is homage to "Clark in his Daily Planet" look, glasses, suit etc lol

I just hope that other rumor is true at some point before Smallville ends because Welling and the current creators of Smallville have said that he doesn't want to wear the suit and that they intended on not having him wear it...but since they're leaving after this season, new people will take over so I hope he dons the actual Superman, Iconic Suit

Well, I missed the first ten minutes of the episode, but from what I saw, it was a relatively fast episode and an alright one at that. There were some interesting little bits near and at the end, that's for sure. Next week's episode should be interesting.

Yeah, interesting show tonight honestly a lot better then I thought it was going to be plus there was a key scene at the end there with Clark literally saving himself(his baby self)

Brainiac never dies does he? lol...and wtf did he do to Kara?

Lana will continue to be "in a fog" until Brainiac returns....

I thought it was very well written though to explain how Earth would be without Superman/Clark Kent aka Kal-El.

Next weeks does look interestingglasses

See, I disagree, I thought the whole "world without Clark" crap wasn't necessary, and pointless, and I just didn't like it. I thought it was funny how he's "not suppossed to exist" and yet he still had his powers, that was a little "wtf?" moment for me. And yah, I doubt Brainiac is gone, but what did you mean "wtf did he do to Kara"? Nothing as far as I could tell. Any way, it was neat to see Clark holding his infant self, kind of another "wtf?" moment, and I mean, the look on his face(s) was priceless! Notice how infant Clark only stopped crying when adult Clark holds him? Yeah, next week looks good.

Well, initially I felt the same but in the case of Clark wanting to once again "defy Jor-El and ignore his destiny" it was indeed necessary to show Clark WHAT Earth would be like in a case of him not being there, lots of changes, in fact more worse overall because who would be there to stop Brainiac and Lex? Umm nobody....Kara wouldn't be enough alone.

I did find it interesting to see that he did have his powers, but I think the reason for that was only because he couldn't interfere in the "fake what if parallel Earth without Superman" scenario anyway, plus it was Jor-El's work anyway.....so it really didnt' matter in that case. It was just for show, ultimately had no meaning though.

Kara as the end was acting crazy, she dropped the jar of milk and started to scream in pain, then fall down on the floor, crawling as if something was happening to her. What show did you watch man? lol It was obvious, at the end of the show. One of the last scenes dude. He either did something to Kara, because he smiled before he died if you remember the look on his face....or Kara is having some kind of side effect due to something, no doubt involving Brainiac because why else would she be collapsing and grunting, yet Clark was fine? I'm positive Fine did something as a back up plan or something that would ensure his return involving Kara, as well as Lana with that sickness hold he has on here so you know he has to come back since Brainiac is the only one who can alter her state.

Yeah, the back in time thing was cool. I love time travel movies, so I loved that concept. Plus, made perfect sense in Brainiac's case....he's a crafty bastard....

Yeah, he's not dead.

Brainiac is DC Comics response to Apocalypse (sort of). Of course he's gonna come back. I wonder what he did to Kara though. I guess we'll find out tonight ^_^.

Ah, see, I forgot about that part! Yeah, I was wondering myself what was happening to Kara as well, but I didn't think it was Fine at first, I thought maybe it was Jor-El doing something to her, but I quickly thought that wouldn't make sense, so then I thought it must be Brainiac. But I still stand by what I said, I could've done without the "back to the future/past" crap. But the rest of the plot was interesting.

I can't wait to see the appearance of the big baddy later this season

Np, they just went after the whole "what if" scenario but at the same time kept things fresh with time left at the end of the show for Clark to use the FOS to get on Krypton with Jor-El's help of course.

Yeah, looks good tonight.

Overall I'll give this one, a 4/5.

Awesome show tonight, I give it a 5/5 because of Lex's evil genius figuring everything out for himself rather fast too.

Next weeks does look crazy, Chloe's eyes look weird like the same thing Brainiac did to Lana...what's that about? Lex figures out that Clark is Superman/Traveler apparently....that should be interesting, will he kill or control his old friend? hmmm

Will the JL pop up? Lana, Kara or Brainiac?

Looks to be a REAL cliffhangerfurious lol

Ok, well just to remind everyone the SEASON FINALE is tonight!!

Don't miss it guys, looks very good from what I've read but I don't want to read too much because it'll give it away or hint...

Man, I must say just from what I've read about it this looks to be one of the most exciting "Cliff Hangers" of Smallville so far....maybe it's because of Clark/Superman vs. Lex lol
