I only recall Raven being hinted from one source, and heard nothing else from then. I haven't heard Ed shoot her down via twitter (unless I missed it) so I'll assume she's playable for now.

But I do remember him saying that just because they're in the game doesn't mean they're playable... who was he referring to again?

You have a point about Power Girl, since she's basically a female Superman... but then why do you mention Star Sapphire, since she's basically a female Green (Pink) Lantern?

As for Starfire, we haven't seen any fire powers in the game so far, so she would actually bring something new to the table.

I do agree that the game could use a magic user, so Zatanna seems like a solid choice.

I don't agree with the "Powergirl is a second Superman" logic. Creating a unique moveset from the same template of powers is not terribly difficult. Powergirl's moves and animations will reflect her personality just like Superman's moves/animations currently reflect his own personality.

I mean, now that Shazam is confirmed, does that mean Black Adam should be out of the picture? They both literally have the same powers.

I wouldn't mind seeing Black Adam in the game, but I do understand if people feel like that might be a wasted spot. Same with PG. I'm all for Power Girl in the game, she's even on my top spot of women I'd like to see playable, but I won't deny there may be better choices simply because she shares the same powers as Superman.

Just look at Street Fighter. Ryu, Ken, Sakura, Akuma... they are considered 'clones', yet play very differently from each other... but in the end, I doubt anyone prefers another Shoto character above a character with completely different powers, even though the Shoto character might be a total badass compared to the other guy.

But hey, I don't want to sound like I'm contradicting myself... so bring on PG for Injustice!

All I want is Poison Ivy! That's it!! No one else! Just her!
The more I saw Bat Man characters revealed the more my hope died.
You can see her vine-filled cell in the Asylum level next to Mr Freeze's cell so at least there is that little nod to her.

Gosh i love you <3 lol but yea i felt the same way, poison ivy was my biggest hope for this game... I guess i'll keep hoping come DLC time

honestly the star saphire thing is an ass pull, i couldn't think of anyone else

and also i can't stand the idea of poison ivy in the game, popular, yes, female, yes, another batman character, no thank you we have enouph how about a few character from some other people's rogue's gallery like Metallo, Ocean Master, Black Adam, Atrocitous (red launtern rings work super differently to the green), Count Vertigo, Circe, Darkseid, Misuer Mala... the list goes on
