Not to go off topic but Ermac's powers aren't all from his jewels that he wears in MKD and MKA, ermac's souls of all the warriors merged into one give him his power as well.The jewels only increase it more or less.


I knew he didn't have an amulet in the sense that Quan Chi does. I just thought that that's what they were calling his jewels...and doesn't he only have the one jewel on his forehead? Jewel or jewels, jewel or amulet, it doesn't really matter. What does is that we both know that Ermac has some of his own power which is amplified to an unknown degree by that thing(s) on his forehead. And in case that last sentence doesn't make it obvious enough, I knew that Ermac had his own power all along.

As for the kurrent fight, Sub-Zero easily. I mean...this isn't even a fight...it's a massacre.

Earlier in this thread, when Quan Chi fought Shang Tsung, some of us were arguing over whether or not Quan Chi could defeat Shang Tsung without that amulet of his as it gives him immense power. So if Quan Chi were to fight Scorpion without the amulet, it would be A LOT different than if he did have it. As for why Redman chose to strip him of the amulet...I guess he just wants to see Scorpion win.

Scorpion would win easily. He's given Quan Chi WITH the amulet enough trouble over the years. Take the amulet away and do nothing to inhibit Scorpion, and this fight might almost be as bad as Sub-Zero vs Frost.

grin Well, Scorpion is one of my favorite characters, Quanchi got it taken away in the battle against, Onaga. It wouldn't be a fair fight if Quanchi had that stupid amulet. So i ban the amulet from the fights in this thread, sorry.

I'll say Scorpion because he's already dead lol, he'll just come back and eventually kill Quan-Chi. I'm sure Chi could hold him off for a while with all his power but Scorpion will never die.

Even though Quan Chi has killed Scorpion before (knocking him into the Acid Bath), I would have to give my vote to Scorpion. Without the amulet, I'm not sure Quan Chi would be able to win again.
