It depends on Jinkos power potential "roof". And whether that power could superceed that of a god.
For now I'll stick with Raiden. But Shujinko is absolutely one of the very few people on the roster that could fuck with Raiden stand alone....Or anyone for that matter.
He's the biggest under-estimation and the most powerful character on the roster.
And hey man, I like Shujinko. Take that "faggot ass" bullshit outta there before someone takes real offense.

Raiden if and I repeat if Shunjinko did not acquire the abilities from another diety (ie Fujin) to go along with his 'borrowed' mortal fighting skills and if Raiden is not stuck in mortal mode. Its kinda hard for a mortal to kill something that is immortal...hell its hard for an immortal to kill an immortal.

Please explain your choice for me....
The reason I'm asking is because of where he got his power in the first place, and the fact that there hasn't been an established limitation on his bestowance. a.k.a. Jinko has no limit on his "Power" that we know of just yet. He could theoreticlly acquire any one beings, or even any number of different indiviuals' powers, and use them to his own advantage.
Jinko > Onaga > Raiden+Quan Chi+Shang Tsung
Jinko killed Onaga, Raiden, Quan Chi, and Shang Tsung couldn't . And this is all based on power.
I voted Raiden not because he's my favorite character so much, more looking at the advantages of experience. Jinko's what? In his 60s? Raiden's a millenia.
Noting that, Raiden's seen individuals like Jinko before..(Shang Tsung for one).....where Onaga was sleep or dead. That's not accounting for how old Onaga is, or what he has probably seen, but it kinda explains to me how he could make such a stupid mistake in giving Jinko such a power//power potential without a limitation.
That kinda gives me an idea...

Depends....If we are talking normal Shujinko vs. Raiden, then Raiden for sure.
If we are talking Shujinko with everyones powers, I think he would be able to defeat Raiden.
I think I would go with Raiden in the end though because we've seen him kill himself and come back.
He's immortal(as long as he's in earthrealm)

If you want to go by who would win, I'm sure the fight would wind up a stalemate. Bank on it.
Going by who I prefer, Raiden ftw.

I'm gonna go with Sindel on this one. She can fly and scream whereas Kitana seems to be essentially powerless (Not to say that she can't fight or anything, just that outside of having an Edenian lifespan, she has nothing special going on for her.). Sure, she has her fans and they can suck people up but they're the source of almost all of her special moves and Sindel has a much bigger weapon that looks a lot stronger than them. Also, I know that Kitana is a capable warrior but she just doesn't seem to come off as that strong when compared to the actual characters in MK and not just random Tarkatans. Then again, Shaolin Monks is considered questionably cannon and her performance in the main series is littered with a lot more victories than her stay in Shaolin Monks so maybe I'm selling her short.
Sindel has powers and it always appeared to me that Kitana had to be protected whether by Jade or some of Sindel's machinations. Then again, Kitana has led the resistance against Shao Kahn's forces to a good number of victories and is one of what I call "Earthrealm's Finest" (The main characters of MK.). The fight will definately be close but at the end of the day, I think Sindel would win.

Kitana
Better combat training as one of Shao Kahn's elite assassins and far more experience....whereas we have no indication that Sindel was a fighter before her resurrection. And even after Sindel was brought back, she hasn't been doing much fighting...while Kitana was facing Shinnok's forces and then leading Edenia's armies to war. Sindel may have powers, but as one of Kahn's assassins in Outworld...a land of Tarkatans, sorcerers, Shokan, Centuar, Vampires, and maybe more...do you think Kitana hasn't already fought and killed beings of power in her life?

I know and that's because she always looks and acts like a flowery princess.
As much as I'm sure Sindel could kick her ass since she's got powerful and versatile abilities, Kitana will win this round, I think, since too many guys are still in favor of women who resemble soft little damsels instead of genuine women who reek power.
I vote for the Edenian Queen.

For years I thought that Kitana was the most powerful woman in MK because of what you said. Perhaps I was also biased because of Kitana's Redemption (which I'm currently reading for the third time ). But lately I realized that Sindel, with her humongous powers, must be by far the most powerful female in Mortal Kombat history. She may not be as skilled as Kitana in combat, but she looks like a pretty powerful warrior. Not to mention that with the powers Kahn gave her, she has a big advantage over Kitana. Sindel would just fly and scream until Kitana's flesh was torn apart.
All hail.. Queen Sindel
Queen Sindel.
I agree with whoever said she seems to be the most experienced woman, I always found the “not having special magical abilities” a bad thing for Kitana, she doesn’t seem to have any special/magic powers aside from the use of her weapon.
But Kitana would be no easy match. I just remembered, Sindel (or was it in Jades bios?) does imply she could had defeated her daughter in battle if she wanted too in MKD, but she couldn’t bring herself to touch her, instead, Jade fought Kitana and managed to beat her to free Sindel, as Kitana screamed angrily.
Sindel wins.

Wow, people finally see Sindel as the powerful symbol of Authority that she really is. I' stunned that the BITCH is actually winning. We must be in the twilight zone.
