Oh I know it was the combination of the catch phrase, the free hit, and the fact that the move that gave you the free hit brought your enemy to you. I'm just saying him being SO popular doesn't have much to do with him being in the original game. Johnny and Kano aren't nearly as popular and have been around just as long.

In general Sub seems to be better received and well liked among MK fans compared to Scorpion. Why? He's not Boon's favorite maybe.

Really thought it was going to be Scorpion vs Ermac for the final ...Seems it is going to be between Raiden and Smoke( if smoke won , where are the first semifinal results ? ) Hope Raiden wins this one , Scorpion would have been my choice , but since his (probably) out ...

I voted rain because he is my face. When he went out i voted scorpion because he is another of my fav. When he went out i voted smoke because he used to be my fav before mk9.

Smoke doesn't stand a chance against raiden. Then again I've been wrong on poll so phuk knows who'll win.

Yes. Like last year, we extended voting for the Semi Finals. And yes, "real life" has got in the way of various scheduled updates. So did a lot of very unpleasant people who spent the Smoke/Scorpion poll aggressively spamming the site and result. We'll be taking measures to try to diminish this influence further before the final poll tonight/tomorrow.

Please consider taking this time to get involved in other areas of the site.

From the looks of it it seemed like the poll was just forgotten. And the extra days are never needed. Almost all the votes remain stagnant after a few hours. Usually if the votes persist after a certain amount of time it's the first signs of some shenanigans.
