First of all, a remake is still supposed to resemble the character you started from.

If you remade Raiden, but he was wearing a baseball jersey, backwards ball cap, some hammer pants and 6" platform shoes with goldfish in them, it wouldn't be Raiden, redesigned or not. A successful remake includes all of that characters traditional aspects that make them unique from everyone else. In Nimbus' case, it would be a big black guy like Steven James wearing a black gi with 6 oz gloves and foot padding, similar to Akuma's outfit.

Your grayed out sprite looks nothing like a black kick boxer. You tinted some white guy (who's sprite is too big to match MK) a darker shade. His facial features show up very well, and say nothing for him being black, they scream "White Guy".

If ImageShack was willing to cooperate, I'd load a picture that shows how much larger that sprite that you used is.

As for what you call my "attitude corruption" my opinion on shitty work hasn't changed. I guess you never payed any attention because I never had to give you a shitty review until now. Personally I have no problem with MKO other than the fact that a lot of poorly made work is looked at as godly. It's a total lack of knowledge on the raters here, who don't seem to want to be educated.

But if you'd rather take praise from 11 year olds with no idea what they're talking about over experienced artists that tried to give you guidance to prevent exactly what has happened to you just to give you a warm fuzzy inside and make you feel sure of yourself, be my guest. But you should learn to take the negative criticism well, because the route you're going is only going to make it worse.

- There's no shadows

- The character to the left is very dark and Kano seem be bright.

- The "Press Start" text doesn't look like it's a part of the game.

- You seem have done the the text in the left character's life bar correctly.

- Santa Claus makes an apperace in the background. Nobody seem to noticed that.

Simplicity is pretty much the point of the fake if you take it in context of what it is. It's not meant to be something groundbreaking or "out of this world".

Becasue that did happen in the game... Silhouettes of various weird things would pass in front of the moon at The Pit, inlcuding Santa with his sleigh, and a Witch on her broom.
Anyway, Kano's skin looks naturally darker than the giant, shaded white man, which is wrong.
I have to agree with K1llKano about the remake bit; remaking a character and having them not look a thing like the original is lame. Imagine a King Kong remake where Kong was actually a giant person; sure, it might be close thanks to a long list of comparisons thanks to modern biology, but is he a giant gorilla? No, he is not, and audiences would not like it, just like now people don't like a white guy with the wrong proportions representing a black guy.
Plus, the "push start" font is so off, you may as well have not put it there, as it takes away from the authenticity of the scene (moreso than the out-of-place white Nimbus).

Ok, I'm UltimateRyu biased, but this fake is incredibly horrible and disapointing beyond belief.
