Nice job on the color. Very good use of angles. Defiantly like the bathing suit... Keep up the good work.

LoL!

Sorry to disagree, but just about everything is crooked, or deformed in some way. It is because you chose such a hard pose.

When you draw, turn the picture sideways, and upside down, and put it up to a mirror too, so you can see what is crooked.

But the coloring is pretty good.

It's a cool pic, but yeah the angle's a tough one, her feet need a bit of work too. And maybe her hips. But your colouring is top mate!

Actually no, you can't do that. In a pose like this gravity will play a big role. The face will be more compressed as will be the abs, legs just about everything. You have to take this into account when you create your initial skeleton and body cage. If you are drawing Marvel hard bodies then I guess it doesn't matter but I was shooting for more realism. I smushed a few spots (like the near fore arm) to give the look of pressing against the table. It's all about the details and sometimes they detract a little.

I will say the far corner of the table throws the perspective way off. Everything is aligned to the front but the back makes it look like it's at a higher pitch. I only just noticed that, suck.

ps. Yes, the feet do suck. Devil feet!

I see what Bleed is saying. I always have a mirror close by when I'm drawing too, it's very important, it's easier to spot mistakes in the mirror, my art teacher showed me this technique about 8 years ago and ever since then I've always used mirrors. Especially drawing pics with funny angles, that's when it really comes in handy.
The technique works for every kind of drawing, not just for the marvel type characters.

When you drew this, did you box her out? Like draw boxes, and rectangles to set up the pose. I do that a lot, and I think it really helps. Looking at your pic, It is obvious that the perspective is off, and some parts of her body are at a wrong angle.

Try the mirror technique, it really does help, for ANY TYPE OF DRAWING.

I'm not trying to diss your work, just spreading the knouladge. wink

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I think that it is pointless to beat around the bush.

You mean people DO do that?!? =-o

For somereason, I find simple free-flowing works well. Don't imagine much, just draw what needs to be done.

I feel your pain. Reason most of my art sometimes ends around the bottom of the legs.

4/5 the chest is too broad, and work on the feet and calves. Otherwise, pretty good. Nice bathing suit idea.
