I think she should be part-animal. Feathers as skin. Or maybe Rabbit ears. A being that's part-animal part-human is crazy. The creepier the better. Tentacles as hair. These as her eyes:

I'm hoping people are not giving up on this because some did not want her to be a Chaosrealmer. I'm getting that vibe that some don't want to vote anymore because of the decision that was settled a while ago. Please don't, I'd like to see more votes for this character! Also, I am planning to do more of these, so in case you didn't like the results for this one, there's always the next character!

Well I'll say this: Hanky's giant spider eyes picture would have creeped me right out of the thread if I didn't know how to use Adblock to make specific images disappear.

So...I definitely recommend that.

I dunno, my concern with the thread is we've reached a stage where we need to have some sort of unifying vision that will guide our decisions on all of the character's physical characteristics and clothing...and so far we've got competing/clashing visions or no guiding plan at all because that's just the nature of using democracy to decide individual parts and pieces. Personally, I like to do storyline before appearance. It's way easier to come up with a design that fits a history and personality than come up with the design first and then try to explain it.

And I'm not sure how emotionally invested I am in the direction we seem to be heading, but it's not because of the Chaosrealm choice. I'm totally down for that. It's just...I don't want to pre-judge or whatever but it feels like, since we're now talking about a young woman with black hair and what kind of mask she wears, we could end up just creating either another Mileena or Sadira from Killer Instinct. I'm sure that's not what anybody's intending, I'm just saying we should be conscious of and try to avoid overly familiar territory.

I don't mean to complain or be a downer on the idea of the thread and how it's being run, creation by committee is always difficult for the person in charge trying to wrangle the various ideas together into a cohesive whole.

I'm also currently house sitting the most energetic dog I've seen in my life and I didn't bring my laptop with. I must say, things went so well yesterday, and keeping to my word, I promised to change this today!

SO... seeing how not too many people voted, there were still votes so she will have diamond eyes and will wear the half mask.

We're going to be focusing on the upper part of the body so here are your catagories:

I imagine her in the nude, with tribal Chaos tattoos covering her body and piercings of the more macabre sorts all over her body, such as spiked studs along her shoulders and down her arms, chains from her bellybutton to her lower spine, stuff like that.

Parts of her skin could be cut off, revealing muscletissue and bones - not rotted away as some undead zombie, but done in a fashion that shows it was made with care and to appeal to he macabre style.

I don't think I'd mind seeing her nude either, but maybe as an alternate.

For a primary, I see her dressed sort of messy, but also elegant. Maybe a tattered dress and old heels would work.

I think she should also have a belt bearing the same emblem as Havik's, just to manifest her being from the Chaosrealm.

Having her being a beautiful female Chaosrealmer, she could easily be an homage to Lady Gaga... I can imagine this thought wouldn't be very popular with alot of people in here, as Lady Gaga is not really considered well in this circle, however, the freakiness could easily be translated into this character.

It isn't freakiness that I seek in this character, but obsession.

Why not both?
I'd like for her to be freaky in the way she looks, but that doesn't lock out the opportunity of her being obsessive as well.

I don't really see her appearance as freaky, rather than gravely disturbing.

I want her appearance to darkly manifest this supposed obsession. At least, that's how I see her.

Regarding the nude suggestions, I'm just curious, how to you propose to cover her Rated-AO bits?

Because I'm pretty sure God of War and even the ol' GTA "hot coffee" mod didn't show vag. Nips you can get away with sometimes, sure, but video game characters apparently bone with their pants still on and still get banned for it.

Covering the vag is easy, as the actual opening is out of initial sight.

One good method would be Jaded Raven's idea and have her covered in tribal tattoos. The darkness of the color can easily mask any potential sight of the opening.

As for the nipples, tribal tattoos would also be a good idea, though the covering would be a bit more conspicuous, and there would definitely be outlinings. A minor alternative would be to simply have her hair cover her nipples. Since she is a Chaosrealmer, it would not be odd if her hair stuck to her breasts.

A large, long tentacle with spikes and a mouth with rows of razorsharp teeth would be coming out of her vag. *sagenod*

I...don't think 3D modelling works the way you think it works, if you believe that a tattoo will make genitals suddenly invisible to both the ESRB, whose job it is to specifically look for inappropriate shit, and the regular audience, which tends to include folks who like to rip models into art programs to get a closer look or make porn of them anyway.
Especially since the games now regularly have model viewers with a zoom feature.

Obviously, the opening of the vagina would never actually be designed.

The existence of the tattoo in the lower area would make a good excuse of the opening's absence.

An alternate example of this is Felicia from Darkstalkers. The character is completely nude, save for lines of fur throughout her body. This fur effectively covers up what would be the opening of her vagina. The same would apply to this thread's character, only with tattoos.
