Releasing Shiku, she was not yet ready to let go of what happened.

"Multiple Shang Tsungs. Marek what do you think of all this?"

"It disturbs me greatly, Serenity. By the way...I did not see anything earlier. I was merely concerned for your safety when I heard you scream."

(haa no I actually make a good effort not to watch Scrubs lol)

"It seems wherever Shang Tsung goes, there are at least two other invisible beings with him. I can sense their life force through this stone in my hand. I want to find out what happened to my village, and make sure it doesnt happen again. I will stand with those who are for peace and freedom." There is a pause. "So who is this Raiden guy?"

"Very well Marek, i believe you."

Serenity begins to think about what Shiku said.

"Wait, the first Outworld opponent in the tournament. Remember Marek? You fought him near the pit? He was able to disappear and reappear at will."

She looks at Shiku, hesitant in answering anything to do with Raiden "Oh raiden is the thunder god and protector of this realm."

(Its just terrible. And sad. Lol Im just playin its all right, just dont watch it that much. Im more of a Days of Our Lives kinda guy. ha)

"Yes, I remember Marek. He was able to disappear..I must find out what his relationship with Shang Tsung is. It is not right having this kind of illusion that makes this tournament all seem fake. Where is Marek now?"

"Yes, I know Reptile quite well. But I do not recall Shang Tsung having a second invisible warrior."

(oops.)

"I am going to return to the tournament, I will fight Ail tonight. I must prepare for that. Watch what you see..."

With that, Shiku nods his head and begins to head out again, pulling out another cigar and lighting up as he walks down the gravel path lit by torchlight. He would stay away from the shadows for tonight. Edit: "I am positive he is followed by multiple invisible beings all the time, and they substitute in and out for each other. Maybe that is just the way they do things, but something seems wrong with it. I think he had something to do with what happened in my village, and I must go now and find out. I cannot waste any more time talking about what I will do.

"Woo party!!!"

Entering the room Ekibyogami saw the looks on his comrades faces.

"Someone is trying to kill someone again aren't they?"

"Isn't that ALWAYS the case? But nevertheless let us enjoy what little fun we have, shall we? Im sure Marek had a lot of fun earlier isn't that right Marek?"

The three head over to to center of the academy. There many of he monks and warriors are gathered taking over the victory in the tournament.

"Should we introduce ourselves to them?"

"I suppose we shoud, my lady."

my name is kevshi. ive' been training with my brother kenshi. he does not accept me trying to learn more of the dark arts. i start to wonder off my brother trys to stop me. i punched him in the face and go through the portal to outworld. i have learned all i can in this realm called earthrealm. i will go to outworld. kenshi cries out noooooo!!!

kevshi looks around. this is outworld. there's no life. not much of anything. i can feel my power growing. i walk up to a tarkata and ask where can i find the women called malice. the tarkata responds she is in kahns castle. he points to a castle on a mountain. thanks. i have no more use for you. your head will be mine. one swift slice and the tarkatas head flys off. blood goes flying. i will offer this head to malice as a sign of respect.

so i teleport to kahns castle. i see malice training. i go up to her and ask her if can be her apprentance.

she says

Ekibyogami watches as in the midst of the party,everything is stopped and becomes solemn as Liu Kang is presented with a medal. After that the party continues. He seeks out his travelling companions,he finds them communicating with some monks.

"So how are you enjoying a Earthrealm party,are you getting along with everyone?"

"Yes very well. The earthrealm warrior name Johnny is especially nice to me."

She looks over at Johnny and he winks at the goddess.

Serenity laughs "If only he knew who i really was, then he wouldn't be so forthcoming."

She turns at Ekibyogami and Marek "So shall we find Raiden or wait and enjoy the festival? I hear there will be a pinata, whatever that is"

Marek gives Johnny Cage a menacing glare before walking over to Serenity.
Johnny shrugs nervously. "What was that guy's problem?"

Looking at Marek's sudden change of expression Serenity chuckled

"is there something wrong Marek?"

"Hmm? Nothing, Serenity. I just don't like Johnny Cage. He is far too headstrong for my liking."

Ekibyogami looks up,it got dark quickly. He then notices Shang Tsung talking with Raiden and Jax.

Okorik has just recieved a message from Shang Tsung to initiate the attack. "We begin the assault soon," yelled Okorik. The Tarkatans yelled in agreement and gathered in force around the armory. Okorik unsheathed his blade and prepared for the attack, knowing the stone would weaken the new Gods if he touched them with the stone or his blade. He now waited for the portal to open for the attack.

Marek looks over at Ekibyogami and sees what he sees. "The old man has been rejuvenated, I see. Looks like Liu Kang's victory didn't change much of anything, as expected."

Shiku returns victorious from his dificult first round fight vs. Ail. He gives Marek a simple nod, still hesitant to trust him. He notices Marek looking at Shang Tsung and says

"i cant wait to beat some answers out of him."

"I believe we have to wait on that talk with Raiden"

Suddenly a huge portal opens releasing countless creature warriors.

Serenity forms her Ring blade "It appears we have uninvited guests"

Okorik sees that Shang Tsung has opened to portal. "Charge Tarkatans! Leave no one alive," he yells as the Tarkatans swarm through the portal with him at the helm. Okorik sees a few monks try to put a valiant effort but it is futile. His skills and powers allow him to carve through countless monks like butter. He laughs as the Tarkatans begin their slaughter when he notices a familiar shape in the distance. "Well now, it seems we meet again time god. Only this time I've come prepared," he yells to Serenity while holding the blue stone near him.

Serenity doesn't know what to expect but she can feel the stone is unnatural and dangerous. She valiantly dodges Okorik's strikes but a tiny scratch is enough to cause intense pain. "So the stone does work. Too bad you had to die. You could have joined us in the Netherrealm. Just as a warning, if your Shadow Priest boyfriend tries to touch you, he'll get the shock of a lifetime as his powers get drained," says Okorik while laughing as he whispered to Serenity's ears. Afterwards, Okorik places the stone on Serenity's forehead and watches as blue lighting envelops Serenity's body which grows paler by the second until her screams stop with her falling unconscious. "Welcome to the land of the living. Enjoy no powers and mortality," laughs Okorik who brandishes his blade upwards, "I have better things to do. Enjoy knowing that you could do nothing as I slaughter all these monks. Tarkatans, bring me the heads of every monk in this place!"

Serenity throws her ring blade cutting off the heads of all the creatures that brutally slayed the innocent monks.

As her ring blade returns to her, she sees a familiar enemy approach her holding a strange gem in his hand.

"Well, it appears you have a secret weapon."
Serenity shoots a clear orb at the warrior hitting the hand holding the blue stone.

"It is stuck in a time paradox, it is useless to you now, now fight me like a real warrior!"
