Well, it seems that you haven't improved since I last posted, in fact you've gotten worse. Heh, you really need to detail your sprites rather than smudge the piss out of things. Hm. I would have figured you would have been a good sprite maker by now, but I guess I was wrong.

Do you make sprites? I'd like to see what you would define as a good sprite edit.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick, I'd just like to see.

Tanya is kind of muddy looking.

Have you tried using the pencil for coloring, insted of the brush in Photoshop.

The pencil doesn't use blurry strokes. I find it useful for cleaning up edges.

Anyway, I re-edited the Tanya sprite's head for a cleaner look. Go ahead and re-rate, i'll follow Bleed's advice and not MKRocket's.

Arctic , you can be good at these sprites if you start sharpening up these sprites . Some of them look smudgey . The Tanya one I rank is like a 8 for me . I think it is time for me to upload my Rain sprite I made with this stage in png form , and I think yall remember seeing it , well now it can be used at things now ( comics , animation ) , as long as credited .

...Anger much? Jesus dude, I was just giving you honest feedback. If I came off like an asshole, i'm sorry but I can't just sit here and bullshit to you that your sprites are quality efforts. If anything, i'm trying to motivate you here. I guess it worked since you decided to clean up your sprite somewhat.

On another note, my critisim isn't the most user friendly, and it isn't about to change. I gave you and will give you tips in the future. Subtle, yes, however these tips, if applied, will help you strive to become better in the art of shading and general spriting.

All in all, calm down. It's just the fucking internet.

For Tanya, I can't tell the difference. Maybe if you put a before and after.

I can point out a few areas that still need work.


1 = Her eye is too bright, use a darker tone so it doesn't stand out so much.

2 = The outer rim on the top of the back of her head looks blurry. Not a sharp cut like sprites would have.

3 = The more visible part of her skirt. The black lines still look blurry.

4 = There is a light area of color along the top part of her inner thigh. It should be darker.

5 = Experiment with some minor highlights in her hair. Doesn't have to be white, it can be a light brown and a darker brown.

Just take a hard brush ( probably the pencil) along the edges to clean that up. Not just one solid color though, you should still use slight variations.

well im not a sf fan so i can't really tell a good one from a bad one but it looks cool worthy of a 3/5 arcitc i don't really like the tanya sprite, too blurry she looks like a fog maybe put an outline, shades or something. i like dagon and motaro tho 4/5 for mot and 5/5 for daegon

anyway, yeah that daegon one was probably one of your best in my opinion 5/5 from me aswell... and um... 3.5/5 for the tanya.... i could never do that if i tried though lol.....

That Rain looks pretty good, lots of nice detail work. Some parts are too blurry, his lower left leg looks like it's broken and I can barely make out his right arm.

Not sure what's up with the blurry outline.
