I guess I shall put my $.02 in. Your sprites are getting better. I haven't looked at all of them, just looked at some of the beginning ones and your latest ones. You are developing a style and that is always good. I'm not saying your sprites are amazing, they are pretty decent, better than what some people here can do. I will give you some advice.

The outlines of your characters (mainly the pants) need to be shades to show depth at the "edges" of the characters. You just let the colors just go right into the "edge" of the pants, that's not good. One thing that really stands out to me is when you are "frankensteining" (spelling) your body parts, you aren't adjusting the body parts to fit the character perfectly. Any person who's been making sprites for a while can notice where you get the legs, feet, hands (argh, I hate hands), chest and other pieces. Your goal should be making the character in a body that is "his/her". You are "faking" (no pun intended) your audience to believe you made your art from scratch. Some sprites looks better than others. There are other problems with your sprite but I don't feel like telling you about it, you'll find it out with time.

Another thing, don't let alot of these people in the thread pump your head up about being good. You are never good, you can only improve...no such thing as 5/5. If you get caught up with their comments about being good, you'll never strive to be better. I will tell you another thing, love making your sprites, take hours upon hours on one part of the body and remember this part of your life making them...you won't be making them forever. Me and a couple of other fake artists stop making MK sprites after years of making them. I would like to make them again, but my life passion is above that (game development) and I don't have enough time to waste on MK sprites. I hope you have a nice time making them.

For the people that read that long "article" I just typed, be critical of Arctic, he has talent, he needs you guys to stop acting like he's a god. The more critical you are, the more he'll strive to be until he ends making them.

My "score" for all of your sprites is: 4/10

P.S. Don't make copy and paste and just a tad of editing noticeable. ;)

You sure try actually making some sprites, Arctic (I'm not talking MK...). Its a helluva lot more rewarding then just photoshopping what others have done. ^_^

I am looking for anyone willing to help, I need some sprite sheet edits for female characters for my MK sprite based comic. I want to be able to introduce more female characters into the comic rather than being limited to Sonya, Kitana/Jade/Mileena and Sindel. In Spider-man 3 Harry was something different called "New Goblin"

Actually per the movie Harry is "New Goblin" and per the comic he is simply "green Goblin". Hob Goblin on the other hand is an entirely different character - here is info on Hob from Wikipedia
