I like it the Kung Lao sprite is really crisp and clear unlike normal sprites like those good job 9/10.

The volcano in the background kinda ruined it for me. Other then that, it looked really nice.

Wow this fake is fuckin awesome!!!

The background seems cluttered, or something. The volcano could be better, and is distracting from the action.
Seems more like a painting, than a fake IMO.

I love the way your 3D sprite fakes look so clean and clear. The blood looks awesome. The background is a good idea (I love original backgrounds), and the volcanic eruption looks great, but the trail of lava on the volcano looks a bit fake imo. This is a great fake. Keep making more!

Like I have said before, of all your works, none tops that one of the beautiful epic trees background you created, an excellent scenario with Sonya kissing Baraka.

Well URyu, You just simply cut and paste the entire sprites from the MKDA screenshots. At least you could have tried to edit them a little more. Add a 3D background to it. The lava coming from the volcano shouldn't come that straight lol.

Well i was thinking the straightness was due to the crevices in the mountain, lava doesnt usually just randomly tumble down. I thought about a 3D arena but i think it would look crappy due to low res textures. I like the "painting" effect more.

Hopefully, it will be your last. Not kidding. It's not that good. I thought with your attidude as MASTER you would atleast have improved a little... Guess I was wrong.

First off, not a fan of the MKDA screenshot-rip "sprites", wasn't a fan when certain people did it in the past (looking at someone within this thread), and still not. In fact, I am not a fan of 3D models on a static 2D backgrounds. Please go one way or the other please, it isn't natural to cross them.

That being said, if you want to keep going in this direction in which you are moving with your fakes, please up your backgrounds to something that doesn't look like crap, or *gasp* a 3D background? It can be done, seen it done numerous times.

The fatality is alright, though a little plain and overdone. Heh, other than that, its not that great of a fake. 2.5/10.

The thing is, MaxDam, he doesn't possess the innate ability to do any editing of his own, except for minor tweaks which never look very good to begin with. Take the "lava" for example. If you, UltimateRyu, wanted to go with the "...straightness was due to the crevices in the mountain" excuse, then the changes in direction would occur at shorter increments, because I'm sure the mountain doesn't have massive crags jutting out with perfectly even inclines above and below them. You're just not any good, man. Get over yourself. This whole "Master Animator" thing with you is just there for kicks. I know you don't honestly consider yourself to be within even the top fifty best animators. You're not--and there doesn't need to be fifty animators; you're buried beneath every single one, under the masses of shit you keep dumping all over the place.



What's driven him out of the business is the same thing that's driven me to this hiatus I've taken--the poor artists and animators give no sign of improvement, everything is just as worse as the image before it, and it's all just going downhill. You've been static in your skills, never showing any real improvement (not anything really impressive, anyway). This place has been in a slump for close to a year, and it's not giving off any vibes of improving.

Oh, and before you go on with your "i beat you cuz u forfeited lol jk" line, let me just remind you of something I stated in PM. Lol, you can say the name, Mk Rocket, there is no shame at all. Not sure if I was the very first to take screenshots "parts" to add it to existing sprites but Iat least I did more editing than the example URyu just did.
At first, I did them adding parts from existing 2D sprites then 3D parts form screnshots. And that was like 2 or 3 years ago. I was experimenting because I never really knew at that time how/what exacly were the "procedures" to create a fake. I tried on my own to makes fakes and I was satisfied with the ending results at that time. I know some didn't like how I did them and some liked them. I think the ones that edit their fakes, sprites, ...From scratch in "paint" are the real artist in the fake business like Venomark, SubZedox and you MK Rocket. There is another really good fake artist imo but I don't know if he comes here, his name Killkano.

My philosophy is, if it aint broke, dont fix it. These screenshot rips look just as good, if not better, as real edited sprites. That's why you only see like one fake a year from those who do it from scratch, takes them way too long. Whereas, I did this one in a few hours. I do suck at editing, but you gotta be resourceful with the tools you got.

But it is "broke", man. Don't you see how the real artists--the veterans--bring up the same holes in your fakes time and again? Even MaxDam is starting to grow bored with your repetitively dull style, and he used to do the same thing. The only people who compliment your work are those who've never done or seen anything as good as the works that the veterans have taken the time to develop.

I used to do quite a few year, but it's partly because I didn't work. Now that I'm working between thirty and forty hours a week, I barely have the time to do anything on my own. If I do, I scramble to get it done. I don't like scrambling to get my works done, which is why I've been on such a lengthy hiatus. Though, it keeps returning to the recurring fact that my motivation to uphold my status among the community has died off completely. Nobody here has shown they can compete, and as much as this may appear egotistical, it's the truth. I, in the eyes of many an MKOnline user, am the best in the fake picture industry--stills, not animations. I don't do animations, though I'd love to venture into that part of the industry.

I can finally say that I respect you for your admission of a lack of editing talent. Thank you for that, at least.
