When I have an update, it'll be up on DA the same day it's up here. The only thing I haven't posted there yet is Human Sektor and Cyrax.

I don't think Razor will run out of design ideas that quickly like KT and his team does/did.

I saw Noob Saibot on deviantart. Looks cool. Especially with the shadow behind him.

I wish those designs of yours can be made for a Mortal Kombat anime.

Just couple of comments:

I really like how you made Sub-Zero of MK1 and Noob look like the same person,but with little tweaks. Nice replacements on this one,particularly the shoulder armor,while also giving extra details(his shirt underneath with buttons is awesome,reminds me of Sub's MK9 alt)

I am surprised you didn't include any Brotherhood symbols on his costume. Story reasons? Maybe something that will appear on future designs? EDIT: Nevermind,it is on his belt lol!

And I remember you wanted to make his eyes glow blue like in Shaolin Monks to hint that it is Bi-Han. Decided to go other way?

Also,why shurikens? I thought you wanted to give them to Reiko in the future,no?

His eyes do have a bluish-purple glow...although you've got me wondering if it's a shade that looks different on different monitors like Kitana's outfit...

He and Reiko will both have shurikens, I don't really have a preference one over the other, but Noob used his in an Armageddon cutscene, so they're canon, and he is more of a ninja than Reiko is. I could've had a swarm of ghosts around his hand to indicate his No-Block Ball instead, but this seemed way easier to draw, considering I already had the hard work of drawing his feet melting and his shadow clone coming out of him.

Anyway, I think Skarlet might be next, depending on my mood. If not her, then Kintaro.

Well,shurikens are fine with me,if you did No-Block Ball,Noob would be too complicated compared to the rest of cast and this being just MK2 as well,so that's fine. I just hope that since Noob is holding the shuriken,Reiko will be throwing them in some cool pose in your future designs?

Regarding Skarlet,what do you have in mind for her? Go Kitana/Mileena/Jade route of your designs or maybe some MK9 inspirations? Also,still doing Hornbuckle and Blaze,right?

Yep, Blaze and Hornbuckle are still in the plan. I don't think it'll surprise anyone to say my Skarlet's look will fall somewhere between her MK9 outfit and my MK2 Kitana design. I imagine when it's done, it'll look a lot like what Kasumi from Dead or Alive wears, in red instead of blue.

As for Reiko, it's probably much too early to say what his pose will look like since MK4 is a ways off yet, but he might be holding Kahn's helmet rather than a weapon.

I hope Skarlet looks like her MK9 self.

OMG I waited soo long for this update and it was totally worth it :), great work Razor Noob Saibot looks awesome. Hopefully it doesn't take as long for the next update lol. How far along is the next character Razor because you seem to do your updates in two's eg Smoke and Jade,Cyrax and Sektor?

If I had to put a number to it, Skarlet's like 25% done. She's still in the line art stage, I've worked out her pose, but haven't finished detailing in the clothing. Thing is, I work in retail and Black Friday's next week, so...we'll see if I have enough free time to finish her before then, but I doubt it.

Another question Razor. For the MK3/UMK3/MKT costumes, will Sub-Zero's (Kuai) alternate costume be "Classic" Sub-Zero's? Or will Noob Saibot be temperarily given his old powers and look to explain Classic Sub-Zero's appearance in UMK3?

Yeah, I work at Big Lots, so I'm not looking forward to next Friday, either. @Chameleon: I'm pretty sure he said a while back Kuai's alternate would be his classic look all battle damaged from his escape from the cyber ninjas.

Nah, Kuai will have the "Classic Sub" honors. Spider's right, though, it'll look damaged from his escape from the Lin Kuei, freshly bleeding eye wound and that sort of thing.

I know it's still a while off, but when you do MK3, what will Kenshi's costumes be? I would assume the DA/9 look and something like his DA alt as a callback to his Ronin days, although maybe not looking like a blind Ryu with a sword, lol.

Well...I'm a little hesitant to do the tight armor-ish costume he usually wears as a primary because it makes him look like a Metal Gear Solid character, so I always assumed he got it from the Special Forces, which he's not a part of yet.

So I dunno, maybe I'll give him something like that trenchcoat he wears as an alt in the Vita version of MK9, or something a little more streetclothes-esque like he wore in Legacy season 2...but with the sash with the dragon logo on it across his chest still.
The alt will be some version of his MKDA alt though, yeah.

Loving Noob Saibot. From the loose hood, to the Brotherhood symbol on his belt, to the shuriken, to his shadow and the sticky tar-like stuff at his feet. What exactly is it; oil, residue of dark magic? I don't own many of the MK games, so I'm not sure if that stuff is what emanated off of Noob in game play or if it's his blood, but I'm just curious.

How will you be handling his "shadow"? Will they be separate beings, or is it just something Noob can manipulate for a short period of time?

Quick questions for Johnny Cage while I'm here... Will you ever draw him without his sunglasses? Perhaps for an Alt? And I notice his hair seems a lot lighter in Deadly Alliance, blond-ish, so are you going with that for any story reasons or no?

Yeah, I agree the armor makes more sense when he's part of the OIA. The Legacy 2 outfit is one of the few things I actually liked about that season, so I'd be cool with that.
@Skynote: It would be cool to see Johnny without his glasses somewhere, although it was really only during the first 2 games he went without them, only wearing them in his victory pose. Then when he comes back from the dead during MKT, all of a sudden he's wearing them full time. Celebrities, they're really weird dude, lol. Which reminds me, during MK9, it's the exact opposite. He wears them during MK1 and MK2, then he goes without them the rest of the story mode. Yet another thing they got wrong!...Minor detail though it might be.
