A new limited edition Mortal Kombat Kollection blu-ray set is about to make every high-energy martial arts movie fans' dreams come true. Arrow Video has announced a premium 4K UHD release of both the klassic Mortal Kombat movie and its notorious 1997 sequel -- both chock full of special bonus features and brand new treasures! The 1995 feature film and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation are both receiving brand new 4K restorations for the release, with original DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround audio and lossless stereo audio, as well as a suite of extra features sure to satisfy fans who haven't seen the likes of this since the Laserdisc era! The blu-ray films come with stylized art by Matt Griffin, with reversible covers featuring the familiar poster art seen on previous releases [picture below].

Where these editions really shine is in the extra features content. Both films will be replete with special extras, including brand new director's commentary tracks with Paul WS Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon) and John R. Leonetti (Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Anabelle), as well as brand new interviews diving into the iconic costuming, soundtrack, stunts, and more.
