May I also add that alot of the cheese and stupid costumes in MKA was New Line's fault, and now The Threshold has MK 100% again.

And still things can go wrong.
Maybe they are trying to hard to implement all the things the fans and producers want and fuck up the story to make everyone happy.

I wont speculate anymore because the info we are getting is not very much. All i can say is that i hope the movie will follow the real story.

Well lets see what happens over the next 2 months since filmin is supposed to begin next month....I just want to see a teaser....at least we'll know for sure it will be released.

Well let's just hope that the third MK movie will be good. I look forward to seeing it. It would be good to see Christopher Lambert as Rayden/Raiden again and Linden Ashby as Johnny Cage.

i do agree that they have finaly learned what Not to do with MK. let's hope that they finaly figure out what To do as well.

I wish Paul Anderson was doin it but he is doin RE 2 and then its AvP(Alien vs Predator) for him...sux cuz he did MK 1 and that was done...very well compared to MK: "Ass-alaition"

Since I'm a big fan of the mortal kombat franchise I will still go see MK3 even if I hear its crap. WIth that said I really do hope we see some nice martial arts and nice special effects...I really don't wanna watch MK Power rangers again.

MKR, you actually have very good points. If MK3 IS sucessful, then I would like to see a South Park episode on MK3, like what they did with Lord of the Rings. And like that LOTR episode, I'd like to see the fabulous 4 walk by a group of kids, and here is what should happen:
Cartman: What are you doing?
Kid: Playing (Street Fighter or Double Dragon)
Cartman: AHAAA!!!! AHHAAHHAAA!!!! FAGS!!!!!!!!!

Like in the LotR episode when the kid said they were playing Harry Potter and Cartman went "Ha! Fags!"
