Mortal Kombat 11 is set to be a feature at this weekend's C2E2 (Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo) with major announcements slated from the Friday panel! Ed Boon and the NetherRealm Studios development team will be going inside the game, with new information and trailers!

Along with a feature presentation of The Making of Mortal Kombat 11 moderated by The Reveal's Joshua Gray; Ed Boon has revealed there will be: a new fighter & gameplay reveal trailer, an announcement for the first confirmed DLC character, behind the scenes, story mode videos, and more!

If you're in the Chicago area on Friday you'll want to swing by McCormick Place, Vista Ballroom S406 for a 12:45pm start. Can't make it that day? If Rain is in, he likely won't be revealed until the week of launch.

I'm hoping Kitana or Noob Saibot is revealed at C2E2. Or both!

That’s a distinct possibility. Daanish Syed, who’s a senior UI artist at NRS responded to Boon’s tweet by saying “You’re going to be SO happy. I can’t fucking wait.”

To me, that sounds like potentially more than just a regular character reveal. Maybe not, maybe he thinks we’ll be so happy to see Noob or Kitana or whoever, but something tells me this is more.

I’ll actually be extremely pissed off if Shang doesn’t make the cut. A character of his importance should not be sitting out two games in a row, meanwhile we have Scorpion in each and every game.

I don't think Cary can "order" Boon to do anything......Unless he really was Shang Tsung and threatened to steal his soul.
