The Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta is almost upon us and the NetherRealm Studios Kombat Kast will be back just before the action gets under way! Could there be a preview? Watch the stream when it goes live right here:

Its been a whirlwind seven days since the last Kombat Kast stream unveiled Kotal Kahn & Jacqui Briggs! In the intervening days we got reveal trailers for Noob Saibot and "Old Skool" fighters Jax, Liu Kang & Kung Lao -- plus the first look at Krypt host and DLC fighter Shang Tsung!

I find it kinda pointless to show off a DLC character prior to launch.

We have less than four weeks. Why not show off characters in the main roster?

That would make perfect sense..show off Kahn and get more pre orders in the final week. He's also apart of the games main story. Hes basically a main roster character that is exclusive for a short amount of time. For the final kast before the data mines it would be a failure if it wasn't cetrion, kollector or Kahn. He isn't "DLC" as he is available on launch, shang tsung isn't.

And this is something I can't understand. When MKX was shown at E3, they also had Cassie, D'Vorah, Kotal and Ferra/Torr. Four new kombatants from eight. Now they only showed Geras at first... that's it. I mean... it is time to show one of the newbies now. Actually I am ok with Shao Kahn but I hope they also show D'Vorah. Remember in the last Kombat Kast they mentioned to show two fighter.

They probably will show someone else then Shao Kahn. Or something else, maybe something about The Krypt.

Liking Kabal so far. It's nice to mix and match your own special moves :)

I wouldnt mind seeing more of Noob. I want to see his three main costume variations. The one shown off in the trailer was sooo good. And the one from the Leak looked badass too.

Damn you Boon... you trolled me :D No Shao Kahn. They showed Liu, Kung Lao and Jax. Jax Fatality was lame... but I liked Liu Kang's one. The gameplay from all three looked really good. Finally I could see nasty combos.
