Sexual content depends on the context of the situation. Exploitation/objectification/porn/etc. is one-sided gratification. As long as you're getting off, you don't care about the other person as a person. They get treated like a tool. The negative cost is much less obvious, especially if you don't care.

Folks, Mortal Kombat is rated "M" for Mature for a reason. Why complain about a intro animation? If Fatalities don't gross you out, why should Kano's intro then? Kano is a dirty thug and this intro animation only a nod to that fact. So everyone just needs to calm down and get over it. If it offends you, change the intro so you don't see it or you shouldn't be playing Mortal Kombat at all.

It's kind of hilarious that people complain about a "political correctness" climate when this sort of thing comes up, but they're literally the only people who see it from any sort of political correctness perspective. The people who are grossed out by Kano taking a leak aren't repulsed by it on any sort of moral crusader grounds, and it says a lot about someone when they bring out the tired old "SJWs/Political correctness gone mad!" spiel without prompting.

In any case: yeah, as people said, Kano is exactly the sort of person who's liable to whip it out and piss on the nearest wall. The fact that he isn't doing it on someone's corpse is a surprising display of restraint on his part. He could be dragging around Hsu Hao's soggy remains and pissing on them before every match as a statement and it would be in line with Kano's character.

4. Regardless, the negative cost is also less. The level of violence portrayed in MK is universally bad. There is no instance in which that level of violence is okay unless the circumstances are extremely dire such as someone threatening your life. You seem to be arguing against what another user said,

and you tackled this by saying that violence is obviously harmful where as sexual content isn't. Well that would be because sexual content isn't inherently harmful. It's not all bad. There's nothing wrong with a lot of sexual content. There's nothing inherently wrong, disgusting, evil about sexual content, but there is with violence.

The main point of the argument I am making here is that it's a video game. If you're argument is about sexual content in video games being bad because it creates sexist attitude in the people that play them, I disagree and won't really be able to prove it. However, that exact thing has been shown in many academic studies for violent video games not causing people to be violent.
