Well you can always choose not to watch the videos(obviously), or do you get a sudden urge whenever something is released and you cant stop yourself from watching it? The reason why i would like to see some more gameplay from people who are not *jumpers* is because i am still a little unsecure about buying the game, and right now i cant really tell if the gameplay will be as technical and deep as they are making it out to be.

It would be kind of foolish to judge a movie based on some video of people jumping as there are not that many videos out there that have every single player making their character jump. But you also have to realize exactly how much time they're given to play the game, certain things may not be released during the demo, you can't just judge on these videos because since it's still too early, there will be better videos that will come out soon that will help show us gameplay.
But what you also have to realize is that most of these videos are technically filmed illegally in a way as certain game conventions have told people not to film the gameplay. These people may not have noticed themselves being taped, not sure how that is completely true, but you have to understand that not everyone needs to play Mortal Kombat in the way we all expect fighting fans would play. There is no right and wrong way to play a video game.
If you're basing gameplay on these videos and judging whether or not to buy the game still, I'd say you're kind of foolish. Six months has a lot of time to fix up things that shouldn't be in the game. If you really want to judge the game, judge the last three months we have before the game comes out. That's when things get more interesting.
But then you say that we have the right to choose whether or not we should watch the movies. That's exactly what I am doing. I refuse to watch any movie that contains a fatality in it because I want to be surprised with what I want to see with them. People do have the right to watch videos or not, but if they're going to watch it and complain, they better have a reasonable reason to complain rather than judging one's gameplay. It's foolish because like I said, there is no right or wrong way to play a fighting game unless you are spamming a move, then that is considered cheating.

Well i did said there were interesting points in some interwievs but what i meant with my post is that they are boring to the *casual* crowd. Lets say a friend, tells you (a *casual*) about the new MK game and how it is awesome etc... You then go on youtube and type *MK2011*, and what do you get? Videos of *jumpers* and a lot of interwievs with like 2 official gameplay videos.

You're saying this to the wrong person. I wouldn't mind seeing these videos because I am not that addictive to this game as most people have been. I am more comfortable seeing gameplay footage like this rather than the rest of the crowd. Why? Well, it's still gameplay footage, I see that the graphics are excellent, I get to hear what's to be expected in the game, things that I wanted to see and hear.
Unlike the rest of the users who are more craving for actual gameplay, fatality spoilers and a fight between, what most would say, two "expert" Mortal Kombat fighters, then those videos wouldn't really be that much of an interest to them. But to me, these are fine videos.

I know there are still six months till release and i have no problems with waiting for new information, but once again i ask you if it would be so bad to release some official gameplay videos (with no *jumpers* playing) every now and then with characters you have already seen how they play?

The only one I would ask for is Reptile because every footage that he's in, we see him getting his butt handed to him. That's basically all I ask for.
@Icebaby:
I know it would be foolish to judge gameplay on the videos of people who are only jumping, and thats why i want more gameplay of people who know how to play the game to see if its worth buying.
Also on the *casual* example i wanted to say that when some random person is gonna watch the *jumper* videos he isnt gonna get super excited for the game. I HATE to bring up MvC3 again, but Capcom releases plenty of 3 minutes long gameplay videos. Its nothing special just a normal match.
But ye you are right i will just have to wait for like 2 months before release to see the way things are going.
