Please, NRS, listen to the many fans requests for diversity! We've had enough of the special treatment that is only being delivered for the ninjas and their fans. Enough is enough. It's time to move on and cater to the rest of the characters and their fans!

....though, to be fair, unmasked Subby is still what we are all complaining about: "Another annoying ninja getting special treatment", but, at least his unmasked form is a breath of fresh air...unlike the repetitive MK1, MK2, and MK3 ninja pallet swaps.

Yeah, Stryker and Sonya is a good guess for Blueberry and Lime. I don't think they'll give more classics to characters who already have one.

As much as I love Stryker, I find him to be a completely unlikely choice.

He already has his "retro" (vastly improved) MK3 costume in this game. I doubt that they would waste a slot on a character who will only get his hat turned backwards and zero details in his costume.

..........unless we are all talking about his GLORIOUS MKA futuristic costumes. That's one of my favorite costumes ever.

His MK3 look is not different enough to qualify. Same thing applies to characters like Sindel and Nightwolf, for example.

We should keep tweeting NRS! I keep bugging Boon about MK3 SZ from time to time, he even tweeted @ a guy who asked for MK3 SZ costume back with a "Hmm....."! Let's all tweet @ Boon & co.

Let's do that for MK4 Quan Chi how about? He deserves a Klassic Alt more than everybody else. It should have been his regular alt, that old koncept was dropped for a reason.

Sooo many fans and threads requesting/asking/begging/demanding for the same things.

You ninja haters are likely to get banned for insulting us ninja fans plus someone on this thread explained a bunch of times on many threads as to why they won't make retro costumes for non ninja characters because it will require alot of work to do just to make costumes for individual characters which technically count as separate models even though they are extra costumes which is why palette swapping is easier cause they are using one model that can be recolored for all of them which is good for business. You guys seriously need to chill out about this retro stuff already you either download them or you dont simple as that no one is forcing you guys.

^ I have read all the comments its just that the way you guys react to retro DLC makes it seem like you guys hate them but I'm over this already and will not interfere with this kind of stuff again.

If people really wanted more costumes, they'd have to show the devs there is demand for a certain costume. [MK2 looks are definitely gonna happen for the 3 aforementioned ninja.]

Queves suggestion makes alota sense. As long as the unmasked sub is cyber sub. I hope if that happens hes more asian looking because he clearly is supposed to look that way just by looking at his maksed version.

Alota of you guys are suggesting mk2 this or mk3 that for people who already got an alt, thats crazy talk. Maby theylle do it sometime but not this summer. Who would want more alts for people who already have them right now (I know their fans would but lets be realisitc and not greedy)

I'm not -suggesting- more ninja costumes. I'm SAYING point blank: That's what it's going to be, like it or hate it.

I'd love it if Nitara was DLC, but I know it ain't gonna happen.

When I say it's going to be ninjas, I'm not necessarily saying I want it to be ninjas... I'm just being realistic and using things like... deductive reasoning and logic.

We've already seen evidence that damn near confirms MK2 females. (As we had with MK2 males, gee, look how that turned out.)

MK3 males are just the last most logical guess. Though I'm NOT saying by any means are they a certainty... I'd say they're a damn sight more likely than any pair of one-off character costumes.

Personally, I doubt it would be Kitana + Jade, because I doubt they'd release costumes for those two but not Mileena. Secondly, They already have retros, why would they give them slightly different retros while other characters still have nothing. I honestly think it'll either be retros for either...

Cyber Sub (highly unlikely though),
Smoke (blueberries are kinda purpley, but still unlikely),
UMK3 Maskless Sub-Zero, (highly likely)
Raidens blue MK2 outfit (highly likely), or
UMK3 Stryker or Nightwolf (somewhat likely)

and either

Sonyas MK1 outfit, (it's lime green, the most likely candidate), or
Quan Chi's MK4 (although its a very dark green/blue colour, not really lime)

Other than jade and reptile, no-one else is lime green, and those two already have a retro each.

How are the female MK2 and MK3 outfits "slightly different" exactly? Not only do I see them as being radically different, I also see the MK2s being vastly superior to the MK3s.

And again, as has been stated many times before, from a business standpoint and using just a little bit of logic, clearly it will NOT be Sonya/Jax/any other one-time use outfit. They will undoubtedly get released eventually, but not now as free DLC. Too much work is required for each one to just give them away for free. Other characters will get their retros in time, but *ONLY* as paid DLC.

And you are expert are you? so you know exactly what they are thinking. Not everything has to be done 'the easy way' by releasing easy palette swaps for free. How tdo you know they haven't been working on one off costumes for other characters and plan to release them for free. Until you have solid proof, I'd suggest you don't "tell us exactly what they are going to do"

And why would they release a free MK2 retro for Kitana and Jade but not Mileena? it doesnt make sense, I'd assume if they were going to make more retros for the girls or ninjas, they would probably release them all together as a paid DLC pack like the first retro pack. Then you'd get Mk2 jade, kitana and mileena, and MK3 retros for Scorp,Sub,Ermac,Reptile & possibly Noob,Smoke & Rain aswell. The first retro pack cost, so it makes sense another big retro pack would cost. For now, i think the 2 free costumes with Rain will probably be for some other characters.

I'm not saying I'm right or that you're wrong, just saying don't be so certain without proof and either one of us can correct each other when the DLC is released.

I would say that Blueberry and Lime refers to MK2 Kitana, Jade and Mileena attire.
The word Blue berry being broken down would leave
Blue being Kitana, Berry being Mileena and Lime being Jade.

I see them doing it that way, it makes a lot of sense using blueberry as a reference to both Mileena and Kitana.
