don't expect to see any one-off retros unless they end up charging us for them. It's *absolutely* a huge waste of money for them to develop something as time-consuming as, say, MK3 Sonya, MK3 Jax, MK1 Kano, and MK1 Johnny vs. MKII Kitana, Mileena, Jade, and Skarlet as a free giveaway.
Do I think all those characters deserve those outfits? Yes, I do.
Do I think WB feels the same way I do? No... I don't.

This is probably the situation. I don't dig it because I find the MK2 females to be pretty bland visually. But, considering all of drpvfx's points, and the fact that the MK2 retros were listed in the demo leak and have probably already been produced, I am pretty sure thats what we are getting. Fine. Its free, and I love free stuff, happy to take it. But boy would it be a nice surprise to see MK3 subby and sonya!

Please understand that I don't like the situation either (although I *do* love the MKII Ladies, so that's a definite bonus).
I really want to play as retro *everybody*.
I just don't think that will be happening without having to shell out some cash for them.
I mean, hell... Capcom's gone *apeshit* releasing costumes for their games.
Who's to say NRS won't follow suit if it's profitable*.
Designing Retros for Everyone certainly wouldn't be any harder than a full round of SSFIV costumes.
I think any of us can help the chances of this happening by buying all the DLC there is. They've already implied they are looking past this first "season" of characters now. Some costumes could be a nice "snack" while they prepare the next round of DLC characters

i understand what your saying appreciate that you didnt speak down to me which happens alot here. BUT.....
this game being pure fan service and knowing this game has made tons of money maybe they will overlook the dollar signs for once and give these costumes for free.
dlc is pretty popular for mk so far.why not give the unexpected?

I second that! We already have klassic skins for Kitana and Jade. Let's see some for those who do not already have them. As much as I would love to fight as Cyber Sub-Zero as he appears in his ending, I seriously doubt that will be done. I would love to see Lime as Cyber Reptile. Blueberry? Sub-Zero in Cryomancer Armor. That's the way to go.
