Cyber-Smoke is/was a great character. What Boon said about he and a few other characters makes me think that if he isnt the 4th character to be DLC he will be soon. I'm just throwing out ideas that make sense to me on how he could come back.

If Smoke can make people fall to pieces by simply passing through them then why the hell didn't he do it to Sindel?

No one had yelled "FINISH HER" then, so he couldn't perform a Fatality...

The logical thinking behind finishing moves is that they work because the person has time to focus / execute their strike perfectly. Like a precision golf / pool / chess / bowling shot, you can't just whip them out when you have to worry about defense or your opponents reaction. You need a moment to collect yourself and prepare, which I think is what all the pre-kill "posing" thats been going on since DA is all about.
Otherwise Nightwolf would just strike his opponents down with light from heaven before the battle even got started.

I doubt he's the fourth, but with the success of the released fighters, soon Rain and the last character, he will be coming along eventually...

I know right?! He should've done that in the fucking first place! I haven't thought of that

Yes, this is just an idea of what could happen. I really don't care as long as he's back and soon.

Nightwolf was chanting while he was summoning the beam of light and techniqually Sindel was simply holding him with her hair and preparing ot steal is soul, not attacking him, that's my thoughts on it.

Cyber-Smoke > Human Smoke! Cyborg Smoke as a dlc character, hands down. I'll even settle for a skin, along with his own kickass special's/x-ray and fatalities.

So he might as well be his own character?

If Cyber-Sub gets his own move list, x-ray and fatalities there's no reason for Cyber-Smoke not to get ones. He already has moves in other game that while maybe copies of other peoples moves they have been and can be made even more his own.
The Trident harpoon is a copy of Scorpions spear move but is already changed enough to fit his cyborg body with it being on a tow cable.
His Smokeycut is a move taken from Sector but making it work by having him drop into a cloud of smoke that moves acrost the ground under his opponent. He then reforms fist first, rising up from the smoke cloud and sending the foe flying into the air.

I would rather they made Cyber Smoke a non-canon character, like with Classic Sub-Zero in UMK3. A playable character, but out of the main storyline. Then we can continue to have the awesome, re-invented Human Smoke and still enjoy the cybernetic goodness of his alternate form.

0
I'd be ok with that as long as he's playable in the new games and complete. I doubt that Cyber Sub-Zero will stay a cyborg in the new games though because he's dead and most people seem to hate him. Plus as of now there is no human Sub-Zero and he's to much a classic character to stay out of the new games.
People are more accepting and used to Smoke being a cyborg so him becoming a cyborg again wouldn't suprise me.

If Cyber-Smoke had his own specials, X-Ray and Fatalities, then i'd buy him

Well as much as I like Cyber Smoke now that he's dead they really have a good opportunity to reintroduce Smoke's Demon (my personal fav) form from Deception.
The story could go that having his soul sent to the Nether Realm is what awakens his dormant Enenra abilities and this allows him to break free from Quan Chi's control. From there Smoke can launch his own efforts to try to free the others and sabotage Shinnok's invasion from within the Nether Realm or try and warn Earthrealm.
That's more or less a rough idea I had.

I'm really not familiar with that version of smoke. I think if we get any new Smoke it'll be Cyber.

He's already non-canon...
But he shouldn't be.

That I disagree with. I like the new Smoke ALOT better than any cyborg version of him. So I hope he stays that way.

New or old verson I'll be really suprised if we don't get Cyber Smoke. It's really not a matter of if but of when. Wether or not he's canon or not is a diffterent story. As long as he's well made and competitive I'll be happy.
