Hold on though, this clown clearly has a model. Yet, the data leaks mentioned nothing about a clown model, or anything clown-related for that matter. Could this be confirmation that major things have been added to the game since the demo???

scienceguy.. i think you don't understand what i want to say. that clown fatality thing should be a friendship because this would make more sense. A friendship is hilarious. That would be ok for me.

But as a fatality it sucked because all showned fatalities were brutal and NOT funny.

I don't think those characters are alts for Cyrax and Sektor. I think they are either:
1) Only playable in story mode and/or challenge tower, as people have said, or
2)

I think the characters are a little bland tbh. What kind of powers will human Cyrax even have? At least Sektor's got the flamethrowers, but it looks like Cyrax and Sektor are the only (playable) Lin Kuei ninjas w/o actual special powers of their own. Also, their names should be changed. "Cyrax" and "Sektor" worked great for cybernetic ninjas, but they just sound weird as human names...

Another thing, the upclose pic of battle damaged human Cyrax looks fake...I mean, look at the size of his arms compared to his shoulders, neck, and head...his arms are so small.


When I first saw the Sheeva fatality pic, I thought it was just another cut-point. But then I realized it really IS her skin rip (you can see how the flesh is kinda folded up on itself). Now I'm stoked! :)


As for the clown fatality(?)....No. Just please, no....I don't care who it's for, it looks so stupid. If it's just some extra goofy fatality, fine, but I really hope it's not Shang's first or second fatality...

Have you ever seen the movie Clown House? That movie made me freak about clowns and there was a serial killer in real life, who dressed up as a clown at birthday parties, I dunno about anybody else, but that's why I have a fear of clowns


On topic, Cyrax looks great, i'm impressed. Not sure about Sektor though, reminds me a lot of Shang Tsung. I love that they have human alts.

These Cyrax and Sektor shots are their alts, not new characters. There are only 2 unlockable characters in this game.

what if these are not alts? by that i mean what if there are full hidden charactors like CZS? theyl have whole new movesets and fatalitys cuz lets face it theres know way in hell cyrax and sektor will have the same fatality animations in human form!

an alt in my mind is a diff skin or costume for a charactor that keeps gameplay the same, that dosnt seem to be the case here!

my bet is they are whole new charactors not alt costumes.

Note, that gameplay wouldn't be effected if say Cyrax threw a bomb from his belt vs. a bomb shooting from his chest. Sektor also clearly has gauntlets for projectiles and fire blasting.

There are only 2 unlockable characters in the game and these certainly aren't them. This has been known for a while now.
