Most of my MK knowledge is about Edenia, Outworld and the Netherrealm. Since I haven't had that much interest in Scorpion and Sub-Zero, my knowledge about them and their clans is rather lacking.

Lin Kuei has an intense rivalry with them.

Takeda was a member of the Lin Kuei who defected and fled to Japan, created a little clan called the Shirai Ryu. The mention of him I have heard was from MK:C, only Razor is my trusted source so I will wait for his input should he ever come in here. MK:M plays a huge factor as well which is canon

There is also mention of him being an integral part of the forming of "Ninjitsu"

So in a nutshell, He was Japanese, left the Lin Kuei, Created the Shirai Ryu, and apparently they wore yellow to mock the Lin Kuei.

Being involved with MK:C, i find it hard to take. and the MK wiki (which can be altered by anybody) but it seems stupid that somebody would go into something so unknown and write an extremely detailed description

Sektor could shoot the missile off his wrist just like the flame thrower. The missiles would have to be smaller though. Even Cyrax could shoot an electric net off his wrist too. Who knows! Haha.
