Agreed. That one detail alone would have made him much less Shang-like.

That's the point I was trying to make. Sektor also has wrist mounted flamethrowers. They are going to tweak it.

Its totally possible that they can tweak the animation of the moves to suit these new costumes like Cyrax having the bombs on his belt and Sektor having his flamethrower gear.

Likely Stryker's grenade animation for Cyrax's bombs. And maybe a disappearing teleport. Perhaps like Scorpions round-ender.

Sektor. Likely the flames from wrist, I wouldnt expect much difference. Perhaps missiles will come out of the top of his backpack? he would bend down for a forward missile or shoot straight up for an upwards?

Or flamethrowers shoot missles also?

Does everyone think it would be safe to guess that Smoke's alt shouldn't be too different from these?

These two alts make me even more hopeful that Sub-Zero will get an unmasked alt. He could be the one Lin Kuei member to have short hair! I think not having him unmasked would be a total waste of an opportunity.

And here I was hoping Sheeva's fatality would be the Skin Rip. But no. Just more cut-point.

I'm sure her Skin Rip is in the game, that's probably just her second fatality. I'm surprised Cyrax and Sektor's human versions dont have masks on, the Lin Kuei's dress code seems to be really questionable in this game. First Smoke with his identifiable and well recognisable long hair, now two of their assassin's are travelling around Earth and Outworld with no masks on! lol!

Well seeing as HIM and CSZ will be different characters, they should each have an alt. I really expect one of those to be an unmasked subzero.

Also, Smoke's alt..... I am hoping for a cyborg. Not one of this type. They are cool and all but there has to be a human and cyborg Smoke if there is a human and cyborg sektor/cyrax.

Cyrax-human looks awesome. Very good design. I am surprised that they used it for an episodic character.
Sektor-human is not bad either.

I hope that they have different animation for their moves. Or theu human forms are entirely separate characters form their cybrog-selves. But that's unlikely.

It comes to close to the level of idiocy of MKvsDC ot MK3 (at it's worst moments).

MK4 had good at atmosphere and one of the best Fatalities in the series.
So saying that there was nothing good about is BS.

Do you think that the NRS team spent the time to create new animations for both characters? That would mean that we have two new characters.

It seems to me. That the Lin Kuei want to be recognized as the worlds top assassins. Why else would you feature the Lin Kuei symbol prominently in all there outfits. Sektor is power hungry so I can see why he wouldn't want to hide himself. The Lin Kuei are assassins first and foremost it doesn't matter if they are stealthy about it. As long as they kill there target they get paid.

Well does anyone know if when you pick an alternate costume it changes the character picture under the health bars? If it does then these may just be alts. If it doesn't then we have new characters.
