Sektor Human: Homing fireballs that explode when they touch people / Same teleport punch / Flamethrower pretty much the same
Sektor Cyborg: Rockets / Same teleport punch / flamethrower pretty much the same.

Cyrax Human: Net = same but shot from hands / Bombs = same / exploding teleport = different but with same result
Cyrax Cyborg: Net = same but shot from chest / bombs = same / exploding teleport = different but with same result

Ok, i'm not a Rain fan anymore but this simply goes too far.

First of all Sub-Zero = boring.

A) He is overused.
B) He can't control water and water is not the same as ice at al.k
C) I've NEVER seen Sub-Zero use water in any way other than freezing it instantly.

You see, not only Prince has a song about RAIN, also once in a while you even see this weater-effect that pours down little drops of water from the sky, there you have it RAIN!! Its actually a weather effect! Sometimes that RAIN falls down on PURPLE flowers.

Last time I checked I also saw a YELLOW SCORPION, is that a joke aswel?

I never said anything bad about him in the first place, I was his number one fan, but ain't anymore. So why suprised I defended him against this fake-macho?

I was bad about Kenshi, Smoke and Noob Saibot, but retired that as I like them now.

Li Mei and Goro are the only characters I made fun off and didn't made my mind up about.

What on earth did I say bad about Rain, that was Icebaby, not me. You confuse him with Noob and Smoke.

He was a favorite of mine, not a hated character.

Rain was based on Prince's Purple Rain. There's no way to deny it. He's purple, his name is rain, and Beran even confirmed it.

Not to mention he's a Prince.

And it was failed joke which turned serious, so there is no need to hate Rain for being a misplaced joke of boon, nobody finds 80ties song funny, the only songs that are funny and jokes are all songs released after the 90ties ended. Those I would laugh at, not all the 80ties and 90ties superhits where most artist actually used their original and own voice without all the editing and voice-photoshopping stuff ALL artists use today. Coldplay would be a serious joke for me, maybe sub-zero's brother called Coldplay?

First of, lady, there's a difference between talking bad about a character and deliberately bashing on a character. What you've done for the longest time complained and whine about how Smoke is one of the most hated characters you thought. You ruined multiple threads about the same character over and over again, and once people started disliking the hair, you changed. What I do with talking about Rain, sure I might hate him, but I'm not going to deliberately shun him down per thread he's in... Wait a minute... Wait since when are we fucking talking about Rain?

Didn't I made this clear that this thread was solely created to talk about Sektor and Cyrax? Yet we get another topic change due to someone who HAS to mention some sort of Rain connection? Lets stay on the real important thing we all want to talk about. Sektor and Cyrax. I have had enough of Rain threads until we see him.

Why is everyone so impressed with these designs?

Sektor looks almost identical to Shang Tsung and Cyrax looks OK but reminds me of a mixture between Kai and someone else I can't quite place.

I guess I'm just as excited as everyone else to see how they fit their "human" story in the game and how they make their powers work, however, I'm not really that impressed with their looks...specially Sektor's.

Clow Fatality looks very cool and scary. I take it this is probably one of the 4 or 3 Fatalities Tsung will be getting (how awesome it is to finally be able to have over 2 fatalities per character in an MK game!).

This is an obvious nod and reference to MKvsDC and the censored gun shot, so, I'm cool with it as long as Tsung's other Fatalities are epic and not a waste. If this is the best of his Fatalities...then yeah, I'd be pissed.

Im gonna be honest, other than the looking a little too much like Shang in the face, Im overly happy with him. That really doesnt even bother me. If I (growing up in canada) were to go to china and have 200 chinese warriors line up infront of me all with long hair and a mustache. Other than distinct depth differences in the eyes. I could see this happing with most of thos cases.

We've never had this face around llong enough to attach his character to it, so we go into "search mode" for something we already know. Which is obviously Shang.

I dont wanna start listing alternatives, because i am REALLY happy. But i wouldnt have argued with short dark hair, just to set him apart. know what im sayin?

Cyrax was here before Kai,and its been known hes african american. So if anything Kai looks like Cyrax.

But here's the thing though:

Cyrax wasn't really never unmasked until Gold, and MK4 came out obviously before Gold did.

So, Cyrax's revealing face/skin color didn't show until after Kai came in.

First, Cyrax isn't African-American I believe. I think he's just African.

Second, we didn't know Cyrax was African until MKG. EDIT: Icebaby beat me to it.
