The thing is, people respond to such disappointment over special treatment for the PS3 with "The 360 always gets exclusives, now it's the PS3's turn". However, I am never for exclusive treatment to one console when a game is on both consoles. I hate it, regardless if it's in my favor or not. So no, it's not like I rejoice when it happens in my favor and then get annoyed when it's against me. It's shit all around, and it's just plain annoying. I'm a gamer, I don't buy into console fanboyism. I play on 360 because it has the most games I like to play, and it's the console my friends have. I am not in some love relationship with Microsoft, so I could care less what special things they get. I just want fair treatment.

Secondly, if this were for another game that wasn't my favorite franchise that I have given so much time and money towards, I wouldn't be so frustrated about it. Have COD maps, I'd rather you have that then some of the crap WB is giving to Sony exclusively. It goes beyond this game, and I know this is going to be a reoccuring theme with their games. It happened with the Joker missions in Batman: Arkham Asylum, it's happening with this, and I am sure it will hapen with the sequels. It's getting really fucking annoying thinking about how I am paying $150 for a TE, yet I am not even going to be able to access everything a PS3 user will. I'm not ant-PS3, I am definitely not pro microsoft(I have been screwed over many times), I am just pro gaming. For the sake of gaming and gamers, give us all the same fucking treatment.

Anyways. The last thing I want to do is rain on the celebration that is a demo. It's just getting irritating.

A few people on here are coming down hard on NRS for favoring the Playstation crowd with this demo release.
NRS has nothing to do with deals made between parent companies (WB, Sony and Microsoft). The parent companies are the ones deciding the whens and wheres of the marketing of this game. NRS are content-providers only in this equation. It would be in the companies' best interest to have this demo available for the widest market possible on the same date. But, these are separate deals to be made, and there were probably some issues (quite possibly on Microsofts end, from professional experience!).
XBOX Live has had numerous exclusives in the past, and IMO, generally better content than PSN.
Just to clear things up, I own both. I'm far from an XBOX hater (use XBL all the time).
Personally, This demo news is fantastic. From a purely business standpoint, WB didn't need to do this. Based on pre-order sales, the game will sell tremendously (usually the basis for determining the "need" of a demo to build interest.) This is just a gift, and a shrewd playtesting tool.

I'm not into the whole "Console War" or "System Fanboy" shit as well, its just plain stupid, both system have their "pros" and "cons" simple as that.

But I cant lie......I'm a little glad that Sony is getting first dibs at a demo for at least one major title.

Good to know that a demo is coming out. But the thought that the 360 won't see the light of it until April is killing me inside.

Cuz it seems like the 360 has been getting all the exclusive and higher quality releases up until MK came out, as far as I know.

The past year or two they've been about even, and this year specifically PS3 is slaughtering Xbox 360 in terms of exclusives, and the exclusives are very high caliber Triple A stuff.

Dante's Inferno had exclusive PS3 content.
Dead Space 2 came with a free PS3 copy of Dead Space: Extraction.
Batman: Arkham Asylum had exclusive Joker content.
Bioshock on PS3 had exclusive content (though the game was a year later).
Final Fantasy XIII absolutely ran better on a PS3.
Red Dead Redemption had exclusive PS3 content.
UFC Undisputed 2010 had exclusive PS3 content.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood had PS3 exclusive stuff.
Mafia II has PS3-only content.
Medal of Honor has PS3 exclusive goodies.

Sony has stated that their new policy is not "game exclusives" but they are pouring millions into "content exclusives".

... so this isn't new, and you can expect more and more games to start having more content on the PS3 than on the 360 because Sony's paying them for exclusive bonuses and goodies. Mortal Kombat is just the latest big release Sony threw money at to get a lot of bonuses and PS3-only goodies. 360 folks are just out of luck unless Microsoft does the same.
